Additionally, there are several universities located within walking distance including Northwestern University (northwest), DePaul University (southwest), Loyola UniversityChicago (east), Rush Medical College (northwest) and Southern Illinois University Carbondale (southwest). With its diverse demographics and rich history, it is an inviting destination for neighborhood residents and tourists alike.
