Bensenville, Illinois is a small town in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Illinois. Bensenville is located on the west bank of the Chicago River, about 16 miles (25 km) north of downtown Chicago and 22 miles (35 km) south-southwest of Rockford, its capital. The population was 9,059 at the 2010 census[1]. The history of Bensenville can be traced back to 1829 when Wm. Haggerty purchased 1,000 acres (40 ha) in present-day Bensenville from Levi Strauss & Co., one of the first American companies to establish a manufacturing center in what is now Midwest America. In 1848, John Prentice founded a blacksmith shop in what is now Wicker Park; it became known as Prentice's Shop or Blacksmiths' Rest until 1861 when it changed its name to Prentice and Elder Armoury because that was how flourishes were distributed among various proprietors thereabouts before Armoury acquired it for $400 from Daniel Patterson.[2][3] In 1856, Abraham Lincoln was elected president and came to town with his family for dinner on October 15th while he was campaigning for re-election. A plaque near State Street commemorates this event: "Herein were seen by President Abraham Lincoln and his family members 'the great events which have agitated our country during these last four years.'" It should be noted that no such event took place inside the old white courthouse – that building burned down in 1886 – but rather outside on Washington Street where Mr. Lincoln stopped for lunch next door to Jno.]Humphrey Bogart's movie studio." [4] In 1860, James Buchanan was elected vice president under Ulysses S Grant and traveling through Illinois he decided to stay at Prentice and Elder Armoury instead of Government House due to an overcrowding problem at Government House;[5] however upon learning about this decision he abruptly left via train for Springfield where he would later become governor after winning another election against Miller Teller.[6][7] In 1865 James Kapp donated land adjoining what is now University Avenue between 95th and 96th Streets east of Cicero Avenue in order to build Kapp High School,[8][9] which served as a model for nearby institutions like Fordham University (1902), Northwestern University (1912), DePaul University (1920), Loyola Marymount University (1988).[10][11][12] In 1896 new streets were laid out around Kapp Field on campus including Elmwood Ave.; today it remains home to UIUC’s Carpenter School Of Engineering & Technology as well as several other colleges/universities across Chicago area including Marquette “The Golden Eagles” university[13][14], Drake “The Hounds” university[15], Loyola IL–Chicago Polytechnic Institute(now Illinois Institute OF Technology)[16], etcetera etcetera... By 1910 most residents had moved away from Bensenville leaving only a few scattered families behind who continued growing crops until 1945 when all remaining buildings were destroyed by fire set by locals protesting high taxes levied by then-Mayor Edward Daley following World War IIBLUE JACKETS parade

Some times specific equipment was required such as a 35mm lens but this is no longer true today as most lenses are compatibility with all common metering systems regardless of size or format! Bensenville is a city in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 24,802 at the 2010 census. It is the second most populous city in Cook County after Chicago. The city is located on the south border of Chicago and shares borders with Downers Grove to the west and Northbrook to the north. Bensenville was founded in 1847 as a small farmstead by George Washington Bensen and his family from Germany. The first post office in Bensenville was established in 1853, and it remained active until 1893. In 1865, John Denton established what became known as "Denton's Mill", which soon became one of the largest paper mills in America. Denton also operated a flour mill until 1870. From 1892 through 1942, Jens Jensen ran an ice cream parlor called "Jens' Dairy". In 1951, he sold it to Harvey Hirschfeld for $2 million. Hirschfeld renamed it "Harvey Hirschfeld's Dairy". The dairy continued operation until 1984 when it closed down due to economic troubles. In 1924, Bethlehem Steel Corporation opened their steelworks here; they remain one of the largest employers in Bensenville today with over 2,000 employees across two plants (the main plant has since been closed). Bethlehem Steel also built some of Midwest's first automated machines used for manufacturing products such as cars and radios before these were developed into modern technology such as Xerox PARC’s Palo Alto Research Lab (PARC) which was located adjacent to their steelworks during this time period- this area would come to be known as “The Iron Triangle” due to its importance during this time period for technological advancements within American society overall! Benedictine Sisters School No longer present but still remembered fondly by many residents: "One of those buildings that people always remember about not too far away [from where we now live] was Benedictine Sisters school back then...It used to be right near our house on Wabash Avenue...We all went there together starting out very early on morning hours...And then after school we would go play outside or hang around inside because there wasn't much else going on." -Driscoll family
