In 1951, when Idaho became a state within the United States of America following the end of World War II, most of what is now known as Pocatello County including Reidsburg were included within what would become Boise County." As more people moved into the area during the late 1960s through early 1970s along with increasing technological advancements such as automobiles becoming available for purchase without any financial down payment or wait times from car dealerships or automakers—the door opened up for businesses like restaurants/takeout joints being able to open up shop right next door where customers could walk in off busy streetside areas," said Mayor Don Shaffer about how things have changed since then."
