This innovation helped makeRexburg one of the most important American cities during this time period. In 1911, Mayor George Wickersham dedicated a building at Third and Main Streets to serve as the city’s first police station with firearm access for law enforcement officers. Today, Rexburg remains an important center for firearms production and sales – home to some of America’s most advanced manufacturers of handguns and rifles. Many old buildings still stand within walking distance of downtown – perfect locations for public meetings or events related togun rights or crime prevention!

The company became well known for their stylish designs and high-quality firearms, eventually selling over 1 million pistols between 1892 and 1912. In 1911, Ritchie partnered with Al Stone to create the Al Stone Arms Company in Rexburg, which continued to produce quality firearms until 1979. The company produced a wide variety of handguns including revolvers, shotguns, rifles, pistols and even a machine gun!

Rexburg is a small town located in rural northeastern Idaho. The population was 1,898 at the 2010 census. It is bordered by the towns ofNorthwest, East Boise, and Stanley to the east, and Salmon Bay to the west. The town lies on the Rex River which forms its eastern border. The first people to inhabit what is now Rexburg were Native Americans who lived in villages along the riverbanks. In 1879, when Congress passed an act recognizing Indian reservations in northeast Idaho, one of these villages, called Fort Hall (now North Pole), became part of Rexburg. In 1902, whenRexburg incorporated as a town, it was named after General George Armstrong Custer who fought in the American Civil War and died there at age 25. Rexburg has a rich history that includes several notable events. On July 20th 1870, four men from nearby North Pole founded what would become Rexburg after traveling overland from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. They named their new settlement after General Custer because he had been their favorite general during the war and they wanted to show support for him. The first post office was established in REXBURG on December 2nd 1870 and operated until it was discontinued on October 12th 1906 due to lack of mail service between North Pole and Rexburg. When Congress created Indian Reservations in northeast Idaho in 1879, Fort Hall became one of them. This left many residents of northcentral Idaho without any community near them so they decided to establish a community within reach of them called Rexburg instead which began operations on December 2nd 1870 under name Old Fort Hall Settlement Company Limited.* This company changed its name to Rexburgh Corporation three years later on November 30th 1872 following incorporation into a city with same boundaries as today’sRexburg.* In 1902 when Rexburgh incorporated as a town it was named after General George Armstrong Custer who fought during America’s civil war* *and died there at age 25
Rexburg was founded in 1885 by the townspeople of Idaho Springs, Colorado. The town grew rapidly after construction of the Central Pacific Railroad began in 1887 and soon had a population of over 1,500. In 1893, Rexburg became the first city in Idaho and quickly became an important center for commerce and government. In 1922, Rexburg was renamed Boise because of its location adjacent to Boise City on the Boise River.
