The original project was designed by contractor PEMCO Corporation and was completed in 1973. The new plant became operational in 1975 and allowed for an increase in the number of inquiries received from customers. Additionally, the plant allowed for an increase in the efficiency of service provided to area businesses. Since its inception, the new Post Falls City Water Treatment Plant has been a critical component of Post Falls' water infrastructure. It continues to play a vital role in ensuring that city residents have access to clean, safe water while providing essential public services.

Post Falls is a city in Idaho, United States. The population was 21,859 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Clark County. The first Post Falls residents were pioneer farmers who arrived in 1872 and created a small farming community on the confluence of the Salmon and Payette Rivers. They named their community for General George Armstrong Custer, who had fought in World War I and died in battle near present-day Post Falls. The town's name has been changed several times, but it remains one of the most popular tourist destinations in Central Idaho. In 1906, Post Falls became an incorporated town under State law No. 810; its charter was amended to allow it to be self-governing within five years. That year saw the construction of what is now known as Main Street; at that time it was one of only two streets in Post Falls with a paved surface (the other being North Market Street). In 1912, Main Street was extended eastward to meet South Park Avenue; this addition made Post Falls into a very large city with over 100 businesses and more than 2,000 people living within its limits. During World War II, Post Falls served as an important military airfield for aircraft manufacturing operations during both world wars due to its strategic location just outside the city limits on Hwy 16A (now part of US 95) between Bonners Ferry and Lewiston; however, no bombing or combat took place here because of enemy fighter activity over Central Idaho areas instead! In 1951, when central ID became fully statehood under then Govt Of ID #27 Harry Jorgensen (D), Downtown Business District boundaries were changed from 3rd Ave S & NW 5th St W towards Saylor Rd & SW 9th St W which included Holladay Hall Annex located along Saylor Rd which housed many post office/mailBOXes (& some restaurants) until they moved out after 1978 when they reopened as "Theaters" inside "Holladay Hall". This move by Jorgensen resulted in much conflict among business owners about appropriate use of space and ultimately led to their closure/demolition beginning in 1978 by then Mayor Ron Nehlen (R) because he believed downtown should be used primarily for cultural attractions such as art galleries rather than commercial uses! In 1984 local developer Donny Olson purchased downtown properties from Nehlen - including Holladay Hall Annex - creating what is now called "Donny Olson Plaza" which encompasses brick buildings on 4 acres adjacent to Butte Lakefront Airport with views onto Butte Lake from all sides! Today downtown offers excellent retail opportunities combined with great sightseeing opportunities thanks to Donny Olson Plaza's excellent environment - making it easily one of centralIdaho's top tourist destinations!

The event is considered the worst massacre of American Indians in the west and has been cited as one of the most notorious episodes in American history.
