In Moscow, Idaho there are several gun mags that have been in business for many years. The first store was opened in 1934 by a man named Harry Helms and his wife. It was called the Gun Mag Club and it sold handguns only. In 1940, Harry's son, Clark Helms, took over the store and continued to sell handguns as well as ammunition. In 1984, William Hickey bought the store and changed its name to Western Gun Supply Company. At Western Gun Supply Company they also sold shotguns and rifles as well as handgun magazines. In 1993, Mr.Hickey passed away and his son-in-law, Rick Kapp (formerly of Patriot Firearms), took over the store. At Rick Kapp's store you can find all types of firearms including rifles, shotguns, pistols and ammo. He has been running the store since 1994! The history of these stores is amazing! They have been in business for so long because they are great at selling guns that are used but still in good condition! Their customers love their products and they always seem to be able to get what they need from them!

Moscow is a city in Idaho, United States. The population was 11,362 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Boise Metropolitan Statistical Area. Moscow was founded in 1892 as a railroad town on the Snake River. The city grew rapidly during the 1920s and 1930s due to its location on the then-new Boise Railroad and its access to federal resources such as timber, water power, and grazing land. By 1950, Moscow had become one of the largest cities in Idaho with a population of over 30,000 people. The city experienced rapid growth during the 1990s and 2000s due to an increase in business activity opportunities available through interstate highways such as I-5 and I-6. However, recent economic challenges have caused some residents to leave Moscow for more prosperous communities such as Pocatello or Meridian.

Moscow, Idaho was founded in 1881 by Russian immigrants. The town was named after the Moscow River, which flows through the town. The first settlers were farmers who arrived in 1881. They started a small grocery store and built a few homes. In 1902, the city of Moscow annexed nearby Haydenville and the town developed around that new community. The population of Moscow grew rapidly during World War II as many Russians fled to Russia to fight in the war. After the war, most of the Russian immigrants left Moscow and Haydenville for other parts of America. However, a few remained and restarted their businesses in Moscow. Today, there are over 100 businesses in Moscow and it is an important center for trade within Idaho and Western Montana. Moscow has been home to several events related to its history: the University of Idaho football game against Nevada on October 3rd, 1886; Mayor Halsey's inauguration on April 4th, 1912; President Franklin D. Roosevelt's address at Memorial Stadium on November 6th, 1948; Expo '68 - an international exposition held in Boise City (now Boise) - with games between Russia and United States teams; Putin's visit to Moscow on May 8th-10th 2009); as well as numerous concerts and other events throughout its years as a town
