These barrels were designed to prevent accidental discharge by preventing handguns from firing when one hand is not holding the barrel off-balance; however, this can be difficult to do reliably without modification or special training. Electronic firearms (such as pistols) have both positive and negative choke tubes built into them; these devices allow you to change how tightly your grip applies pressure to the trigger so that it cannot fire accidentally regardless of where your hand is located within the firearm barrel. In 1892, the Meridian Rifle and Pistol Club was organized in Meridian, Idaho. The club enjoyed success at local matches and soon began to make national headlines. In 1898, their first nationally televised match took place in Omaha, Nebraska. The competition featured some of the finest shooters in the country and helped spur interest in rifle and pistol shooting throughout the United States. The club continued to thrive over the next few decades, but World War II interrupted their activities. In 1945, they resumed operations with a new name - American Shooting Sports Foundation (ASF). This organization continued to provide financial support for competitive shooting through its programs until 1997 when it merged with another organization known as National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF).
Meridian is a city in Idaho, United States. The population was 5,711 at the 2010 census. Meridian is the county seat of Butte County. It lies on the confluence of the Snake and Salmon Rivers, just north of where they converge to form the Snake River. The first Europeans to visit Northern Idaho were fur traders from Russia in 1807-8. They discovered an area rich in coal and gold and named it "Mineralsynthia", after Kirkland Miners Company president John Drouillard. The earliest residents were Native Americans who gathered around large fires to cook their food over hot coals until they ran out of fuel; these people are known as "Kootenai". When white men started trading with real estate developers in 1907, they renamed the town after General James Fenton Meridian because he had been a major player in helping create eastern Oregon's irrigated agriculture industry. In 1916, when Butte County was created from part of Lost Lake County, Meridian became its county seat. That year saw construction of what is now Downtown Meridian by Butte County Commissioners intent on modernizing town government while still keeping much local control within its own borders. The courthouse was completed in 1919 but never used because it was replaced by a new building near downtown that still stands today (the old courthouse burned down in 1961). In 1931, when Boise began annexing counties east of Boise City limits, Butte County left Meridian unannexed and annexed Mustang instead which made Meridian one of only two cities (along with Boise) to have both annexation requests denied by then-Commissioner Halsey Martin despite strong local support for annexation due to economic reasons only later revealed through hidden records or audits: This denial marked an important turning point for city politics as Mayor Harry Siever would become one of the most powerful political figures ever associated with Meridian during his three terms as mayor from 1951-1961 including leading efforts to annex neighboring Shiawassee Counties into Boise during his time as Commissioner (he left office after achieving more autonomy within Boise). He also served two terms as Mayor Pro Tem before being elected Mayor himself victorious against longtime incumbent Jerald Weems in November 1974 following a campaign that included scathing attack ads accusing Weems not only of incompetence but also corruption related issues such as awarding government contracts withoutcompetitive bids; weems had been accused by various conservatives including Drudge Report columnist Dave Barry of being soft on communism and voting against important tax increases during his term as Mayor which led some citizens to call him a sellout hypocrite even though he continued making generous donations to several charities once he took office). He served two terms before retiring effective December 3rd 1981 and becoming Deputy Sheriff for Douglas County

Meridian, Idaho is a city located in the Snake River Valley of central Idaho. The population was 10,812 at the 2010 census. Meridian is part of the Boise metropolitan area. The first permanent settler in what is now Meridian was George Vancouver who arrived in 1847. He founded a ranch and store near present-day Hastings on the Snake River. Greek Catholic missionaries from St. Pius X traveled to Idaho in 1856 and built a chapel here that still stands today. A post office called Meridian was established in 1881, but it was moved to an unknown location after only six months because of railroad construction across the valley route through Meridian (the old Kooskia Road). The original town site lay within present-day Ada County, however, when it became apparent that local residents were not interested in becoming residents of a new town east of their county line. In 1907, Pacific Railroad construction along the Snake River valley created demand for goods and services available only within a few miles of Moscow Junction (now Moscow), so Boise citizens approved annexation by Meridian as their new city limits expanded towards Moscow Junction with no change to boundaries between Ada and Jackson counties. In 1915, during World War I, military units stationed at Fort Hall south of Boise began using Meridian as an ammunition dump due to restrictions on transportation into downtown Boise; this resulted in increased business for the mercantile store owners and merchants resulting from increased trade between Ada County and surrounding rural areas during wartime shortages elsewhere in the state. During World War II, many soldiers from nearby Battle Mountain occupied residences within modern-day Meridian while they awaited shipment home to fight; these individuals constructed homes out of logs taken from adjacent lumberyards along Snake River where they worked during peacetime hours while their families lived nearby during wartime hostilities. Japanese American prisoners who had been held at various camps throughout western Washington were also detained here until liberation on March 24th 1945; some individuals remained living behind barbed wire fences until released by U.S forces less than two weeks later on April 7th 1945 under Operation Overlord despite being subject to daily Gestapo harassment by Japanese guards during their incarceration). In 1951, following passage of The Local Authorities Act which gave local governments more power over education and zoning regulations among other topics (a precursor to suburban sprawl growth throughout much Western United States over ensuing decades), Meridian's charter amendment granting city status was ratified by voters via referendum setting forth provisions regarding animal control ordinances ( subsequently repealed upon City Council's re-election campaign pledge not to pass similar ordinances following allegations made against then Mayor Rufus Norris regarding his involvement with organized crime activities ); fire/EMS services ; garbage collection ; planning & zoning ; streetlights; water supply & sewerage systems ; parklands etc.; as well as other important community amenities including libraries (renewed since 1959), recreation opportunities such as golf courses & fishing lakes (both restored since 1990s), parks (& open space) near downtown core complete with basketball courts (& Jogging TrailsSystem) - making it one of most comprehensive comprehensive comprehensive municipally run urban areas remaining within Western United States today ).
Meridian was founded in 1907. The town is located on the Snake River and is named after the river's course through the area. The town was first built on the site of what is now Meridian High School, which was founded in 1906.
