Ammo has been around since the 1800s. In 1892, George Ball created a new type of ammunition called "Velocipede." This ammunition was designed to shoot much faster than any other kind of ammo at that time. The velocipede was so fast, it made it difficult for enemy snipers to target their shots and inflict casualties. It soon became popular among riflemen and artillerymen all over the world. In 1899, ballistae were invented which allowed for long range shootings with greater accuracy. Ammunition manufacturers started marketing these new technologies as "bullet drop" or "velocity bullets." By 1904, most companies in the United States had production plants devoted to bullet drop ammunition manufacturing. Around this time, too, ballistics experts began developing methods for verifying projectiles' authenticity and determining their air pressure before firing them off. These techniques would lead to the development of modern fired weapons like rifles and shotguns which need little human confirmation of fire positions

Lewiston is a small town in the US state of Idaho. The population was 2,715 at the 2010 census. Lewiston is located on the Snake River and is bordered by Moscow to the east and Twin Falls to the west. The first people to live in Lewiston were Native Americans who hunted game in what is now Lewiston County. In 1874, Lewiston was founded as a trading post between Spokane City, Washington Territory and Alberta, Canada. In 1875, Lewiston became part of what would become Boise County when it was organized outside of Spokane Territory. On January 1, 1888, Lewiston incorporated as an unincorporated community with a population of 10 citizens. On November 5th of that year,Lewiston voters ratified a proposition creating a city government which would eventually be named after its founder J D McConnell (1860-1940). In 1893, Congress passed legislation establishing the Snake River Valley Railroad Company and giving it control over all land within its proposed corridor from Promontory Point on the eastern edge of present-day Boise City to White Sands Junction on the western edge of Salmon National Forest - including all but 6 square miles (15 km) of present-day Lewiston. This railway company became known as "The Great Northern". Lewiston quickly grew due to this railroad development and numerous businesses sprang up around town such as flour mills and lumberyards. By 1910, there were over 100 businesses inLewiston employing more than 300 people! The commercial center flourished until World War II when many factories closed down or were moved away due to wartime production quotas. After World War II ended, most businesses slowly died out as unemployment returned to normal levels; however some new businesses started up in their place such as an ice cream parlor in 1957 and an IGA grocery store in 1992 which still operates today!
Lewiston was founded on July 3, 1874 by Alexander McNaught and his brother-in-law John Fenton. The town was named for Lewiston, Maine, the original home of McNaught and Fenton. The railroad reached Lewiston in 1876 and the town became a influx of immigrants from all over the United States. In 1915, Lewiston was renamed to its current name after Lieutenant General James W. Lewinsky.
