Mr. Ernest Jorgensen, then a student at Idaho State Normal School, acted as secretary and treasurer while Mr. Harry Andersen served as president. In 1904, they moved to their present location on Sully Street in Kuna and changed their name to the Kuna Rifle and Pistol Club Incorporated

The community sprang up around a stoplight on U.S. Route 95 which connected Kuna with nearby Twin Falls, then called Payette County seat and now part of Boise. The first post office opened in 1902, and the name changed to Kuna in 1907 when Territorial Highway No. 7 became US 95 west of town limits; US 95 designation continued until 1959 when it became I-85 south of town limits.
