Eagle, Idaho is a small town in the Sawtooth Mountains of northwestern Idaho. It is located on the Snake River, about midway between Boise and Salt Lake City. The population was 1,816 at the 2010 census. Eagle has been called "The Gem of the Rockies" for many years because of its natural resources and its location near major metropolitan areas. A post office called Eagle was established in 1887, and remained in operation until 1963. The first settlers in Eagle were farmers who arrived from eastern Canada around 1879. They established a homestead on what is now First Street and Main Avenue. In 1907, they developed a water system that supplied irrigation to nearby farms as well as city streets in Boise and Pocatello. The main industry in Eagle during the early years was agricultural production; however, by 1920 it had become an important center for mining operations due to its coal resources (the town slogan during this time was "Eagle From Coal"). By 1940, military activity had decreased significantly throughout most of North America; so much so that Eagle became one of the few small towns not af-fected by World War II military bases or urban renewal projects generally sweeping across large American cities. However, when Pearl Harbor happened On December 7th 1941 Eagle's economy took a hit due to prices for goods skyrocketing immediately following Pearl Harbor Shipments stopped entirely as markets were closed off to prevent any possible leakageages from Japan's fleet within United States ports - this directly affected both local manufacturers and miners which created]). This sudden halt to commerce did have some negative consequences for local businesses like pawnbrokers which saw their customers desert them because there was no way they could afford new inventory without selling anything else at an increased price tag (it should be noted that these businesses typically operated illegally anyway)). The closure of markets also led to neighborhood barbecues becoming more common as people cooked food over open fires rather than purchasing pre-made meals). In 1944 local businessman Bob Wicklund purchased land east of town on State Highway 11B which he would use as his business park; this marked the beginning of what would eventually become known as "Wicklund Park". By 1949 Wicklund Park had evolved into one of Idaho's largest shopping malls with over 100 stores including Sears Roebuck & Company (now Sears Holdings) along with several restaurants and a movie theater complex named after him—the Bob Wicklund Mall—all within walking distance from each other. This development helped encourage further economic growth within Eagletown throughout the 1950s through 1960s thanks partially to government subsidies given primarily towards education within town]. Sales growth slow down during 60s but pick up again after recession ends] In 1969 Eagletown began receiving federal funding specifically targeted towards environmental cleanup efforts following decades of mining emissions pollution]; such assistance allowed Eagletown Mayor Harry Snelling[to build two schools—one high school and one middle school] while also investing into technology such as soundproofing buildings] During these times Eagletown experienced rapid growth with residents moving out into neighboring townships looking for easier access to amenities}; however late night crime rates remain high]] Finally by 1984 all federal funding had ceased completely leaving Eagletonow largely self-sufficient].

Eagle is an unincorporated community in southeastern Clark County, Idaho, United States. The population was 298 at the 2010 census. Eagle is located on the southeast side of Payette Reservoir and is east of the town of Jerome. The first white person to set foot in Eagle was Elias Stevens in 1877. He homesteaded land near the reservoir and built a cabin on a bluff overlooking it. In 1902, he sold his holdings to J.D. Nicholson and Wm. Pritchard for $1,000 cash plus 50 acres (20 hectares) of woods and meadows around the reservoir. In 1923, C A White acquired 640 acres (250 hectares) around Payette Reservoir from J D Nicholson for $10 per acre ($2 per hectare). This area became known as White's Ridge after him and was used for farming, grazing, and hunting until it became part of Eagle in 1930. In 1951, James Hargrave purchased 555 acres (232 hectares) surrounding Payette Reservoir from A B White for $8 per acre ($2 per hectare). This area became known as Hargrave's Ridge after him and served as farmland, cattle pastures, logging roads, mill ponds/lakes, water towers/facilities until it became part of Eagle in 1970s when it was annexed by Jerome

The new High Capacity Kit features an increase of up to 4 liters of fuel/air mixture inside a 40 liter gasoline tank !

The town has experienced some economic fluctuations over the years but overall has remained relatively stable since 2001 when it lost its status as a census-designated place (CDP).
