Ammunition sales have been a part of the Idaho economy for more than 100 years. The first ammunition store was opened in Chubbuck in 1885. Ammunition production began in 1907 with the opening of the Idaho Arsenal. In 1954, the Chubbuck Armory was Closed and converted into an ammo storage facility. Today, Ammo Sales is a full-time business with over sixty employees. Ammunition products are sold both nationally and internationally.

Chubbuck is a small town in Idaho, located about 120 miles northwest of Boise. The population was 1,543 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Boise-Nampa-Canton, ID Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first people to live in Chubbuck were the Kappas and their families who came from Russia in 1872. They started a general store and Trading Post on the east side of town. The first post office was established in 1870, and it served as the main center for trade until 1905 when townspeople moved out to build homes around the new post office. In 1907, Chubbuck had its own school system which eventually merged with nearby Pocatello into one district under the name of Pocatello-Chubbuck Schools District #2 in 1961. In 1923, a movie theater was built and named after pioneer Harry Houdini which continues to be used today as a community hall. In 1955, Chubbuck incorporated as an independent municipality and began trading its own currency called "chubs" which was pegged to the US dollar. In 1957, it became an incorporated city when all but two of its businesses within city limits joined forces with neighboring Pocatello to form one city government under Mayor Clyde Jorgensen. In 1966, Chubbuck annexed much of south Ada County making it official annexation territory for that year only; however adjacent Ada County continued to be split between Chubbuck and Ada County residents until 1987 when all residents within Ada County Municipality amalgamated into one entity effective January 1st 1984 known as Chubbuck City Government (CHUBBUCK). On July 4th, 1986 a tornado touched down near downtown causing extensive damage across most of what would become known as Northwest Idaho including much of rural northeast Boise county including parts of present day Chubbuck township including portions now known as North South Valley Village & Glenwood Springs

Chubbuck, Idaho is a small town in the Clearwater Valley of southeastern Idaho. It was founded in 1881 by George Chubb and his wife, Sarah. The town has been located on the old Homestead Road between Pocatello and Twin Falls since that time. The first settlers were Methodists who arrived from Tennessee in 1851. The Methodists built two churches and started a school in Chubbuck. In 1883, George Chubb bought land around the town and began to build a sawmill and other businesses. He also donated land for a school, which opened in 1884. In 1912, the US government purchased the homestead road from George Chubb so it could be used as an Indian trail. The US military later built roads through Chubbuck to help move troops during World War I and World War II. In 1948, the community became part of Pocatello County when it was created from part of Twin Falls County. Today, Chubbuck is a small but vibrant community with many businesses and services available to its residents. Its primary industries are agriculture (mainly hay) and lumbering; however, there are also several small businesses that focus on various unusual or niche products or services
Chubbuck is a small city located in the Challis County, Idaho area. The city was founded by James Chubb in 1876. The population of the city increased from 1,000 to 10,000 during the early 20th century. The primary industry in Chubbuck until the late 1800s was farming and ranching, but since then it has become an agricultural center with a heavy reliance on irrigation water.
