There are several types of tasers available on the market today including mechanical self-injurious devices (MIDAS) and electronic shock weapons (ESW). MIDAS devices fire short pulses of electricity that cause temporary bodily harm while ESW devices discharge an Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) at high power capable of stunning humans instantly if they are close enough to be hit by either type of weapon. Outdated legislation has resulted in many people being paralyzed by tasers while out on bail or during arrest - this is why it is important that everyone knows how to properlyuse them should they encounter someone wielding one!

In 1869, the federal government purchased a tract of land in what is now Ammon, Idaho from the local leaders. It was part of the Oregon Territory and had been claimed by both Russia and California. The new owner, the United States Army, began to develop it into a military post. In 1901, after years of construction and testing, the first concrete road was built east-west through Ammon. In 1907, Fort Bridger was completed on the property and became an important supply stop for army troops travelling westward across the Rocky Mountains.
