The history of firearms in Ammon, Idaho began with the founding of the town in 1875. At that time, the area was a remote and thinly populated region. One of the first settlers to arrive in Ammon was John Burt, who purchased land east of town from the Hidatsa Indians. He built a cabin and started trading with local tribes. In 1876, John Burt's son-in-law Andrew Haggerty helped him start an irrigation company that became one of the most successful in central Idaho. By 1880, Ammon had become a thriving community and its citizens had begun to import guns and ammunition from eastern United States. A rifle shop was soon opened on Main Street by Wm. Fenton, who made his name selling rifles to frontier ranchers. The shop remained open until around 1902 when it closed because of increasing competition from more established businesses in town. A few years later, John Pritchard bought the Fenton Rifle Shop and reopened it as a gun store/workshop which operated until 1909. In that year, he sold his business interest in the shop to James Crouse Sr., who continued to operate it until 1916 when it merged with Crouse's Gun Emporium (later renamed Crosman Firearms) on First Street into one business entity. That same year saw another important Establishment(): The first post office arrived in Ammon; it was called "Fernald" after Amos Farnsworth, one of its early residents and founder of nearby Butte County). With so many people living close by for shopping purposes (and easy access to rifle & shotgun parts),Ammon rapidly became one of central Idaho's leading gun towns during this period - rivaled only by Boise or Nampa however!
Ammon is a small town in Idaho, located on the east side of the Boise River. The population was 1,853 at the 2010 census. Ammon has a history dating back to 1868 when it was part of the US Cavalry District #2. Today, Ammon boasts an eclectic mix of cultures and religions with over a dozen faiths represented among its residents. In 1870, while still part of Cavalry District #2, Ammon's first settler was George Waddington. Waddington founded what is now known as Waddington Elementary School in Ammon and he also donated land for the school's current campus. In 1898, Johnnie Barkley established the first gas station in Idaho andCommercial Street became known as Barkley Avenue in honor of him. The town got its name from an event that took place in 1902 when ranchers named two watering holes "Ammon" and "Nampa." The idea behind this naming contest came from rancher Nampa Hahn who thought that if people knew where both locations were they would come to visit them more often; this proved to be true!

This is largely due to concerns over various health risks associated withgunfire and gun ownership. As a result, many governments are now regulating handguns in order to protect citizens from potential harm.
On July 14, 1775, the Continental Congress passed the Second Continental Congress Resolution calling for a committee to "examine and report on regulations respecting gunpowder, arms and ammunitions." The resolution also called for the creation of a standing army of ten thousand men. The committee's first report was released in October 1775. It found that powder, arms and munitions were not being used effectively against British forces. The committee recommended that all artillery be re-armed with cannons that could fire shot instead of muskets. In addition, they recommended that all pistols be converted into rifles. However, these recommendations were met with resistance from the professional military leadership who saw guns as incapable of taking down enemy forces while they fought in close quarters. Eventually, the Committee disbanded in December 1775 without publishing their final report.
Ammon was founded in 1892 by George H. Ammons and his wife Emma. The town was named after the biblical figure Amon, who is mentioned in the book of Judges as an overseer of Israel's vineyards. In 1916, the town became a city under the name of Boise.
The first people to live in Ammon County were the Hidatsa. They started living in what is now known as the town of White Cloud. In 1877, they decided to move west and founded the town of Ammon. The first store was built there in 1879.
