Ammon, Idaho is a town in Carbon County, Idaho, United States. The population was 511 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Boise metropolitan area. The first people to live in what is now Ammon were the Hidatsa. They hunted and gathered food near this community for centuries before white men came along and started trading with them. The first permanent settler in what is now Ammon was James Wittell who arrived in 1868 from Illinois. He built a log cabin on his farmstead which still stands today. In 1889, George Stephenson founded the Pacific Railway Company here and ore from local mines began flowing into California markets. By 1901, Ammon had become one of the most important mining towns in central Idaho because of its excellent rail transportation system and its strategic location on both sides of the Snake River as it entered Topeka and then moved south through Pocatello to join Seattle just north of present-day Spokane Falls. In 1912, when a smallpox pandemic hit western Canada, many people emigrated to America looking for new social opportunities while others stayed behind to fight the disease; some businesses even opened their doors wearing masks to keep away the spread of infection! After World War II ended there was an increase in agricultural production due to increased demand for agricultural products by post-war America including meatpacking companies such as JBSS (now Tyson Foods) that were based in Omaha Nebraska across the Snake River from Boise City. As more residents migrated into rural areas outside of town during this time there was less use for railroad tracks connecting townspeople all within walking distance so businesses closed or merged into larger stores throughout downtown Ammon becoming increasinglyeliteized until decline set in following 1990s when recession hit followed by population growth which again halted development efforts leading to current problem situation where few if any new housing developments have been constructed since 2000

These new gadgets became more effective at holding onto victims than earlier models because they didn’t rely on metal rods but instead relied on straps and clips to restrain someone. One reason why these new devices became so successful was because they prevented victims from struggling against them and reaching for help; this made it much easier for authorities to detain and questioning them without any danger involved. There were some attempts during World War II to revive interest in gun chokes however these failed due to problems with availability and effectiveness as well as concerns over potential misuse by terrorists who could use them offensively rather than defensively. Despite this lack of success, gun chokes continue to be popular today despite their drawbacks – mainly because they are relatively easy and comfortable tools that can be employed effectively in restraining individuals without causing any serious injury or fatalities

However, because Ammon's incorporation did not take place until after Boise's founding, it has no direct connection with either city. Today, Ammon is a ghost town and its only inhabitant is an elderly woman who lives on private land near the main street. Despite this disinterest from locals, some people believe that there may be something hidden inside the abandoned community which they can explore if they are brave enough to venture there.
