In 1916, King Kalākaua ordered two new rifles from George Wacoin & Sons Inc., makers of state-of-the-art telescope equipment at that time. The following year saw another significant addition to rifleScope legend when American Optical Corporation introduced their innovative 4x50mm objective lens design for shotguns based on Japanese Type A barrels. This new design allowed shotgunsners to fire successfully at distances up to 100 yards without fear of missfires or damage to their firearm due to recoil caused by larger caliber rounds fired at close range. However, it would be another ten years before any other major improvements would be made to rifleScope technology - until finally, in 1984, American Optical reintroduced their original 5x56mm magnification configuration for shotguns as part of their existing line of hunting optics products under the name “ Amerikon” series products).

Hawaii is a country located in the Pacific Ocean. The state of Hawaii was created on December 13th, 1959 from the Island of Kaua’i and almost all of O’ahu. The capital and largest city of Honolulu is also the most populous city in Hawai‘i. The islands that make up Hawai‘i are diverse in terms of climate and landscape, with several volcanoes and rainforests making up its natural resources. The first people to live on the islands were Polynesian migrants who arrived around 1250 AD. After a long journey from their home island, they established a village on Kaua’i which they named Niʻihau (New Island). Niʻihau was abandoned about 1400 AD because it was too hot and there wasn't enough food to sustain them. The first European to visit the islands was Portuguese explorer Pedro Fernández de Oviedo who sighted them in 1511 while sailing through Kaho'olawe bay. He called them "Islas Malvinas" (Malvinas Islands). Hawaiian missionaries discovered Christianity at Niʻihau around 1700 AD and began missionary work among the local population. In 1821 King Kamehameha I granted land to two Danish missionaries, George Vancouver and David Wainwright, as part of his efforts towards converting more native Hawaiians to Christianity. In 1850 Commander Robert Halsey explored the main island chain which he named after Commodore James Cook who had visited it just three years earlier: Nuku'alofa (Greater Honuula) In 1893 King Kalakaua issued an order granting private ownership of land throughout much of what is now Hawaii except for Kaua’i which lay under Spanish jurisdiction until 1898 when American forces captured it during World War II. Landowners received licenses to sell their land over time and by 1944 approximately 96% of all homes were owned by individuals or groups outside of government control. Japanese Americans were interned during World War II as part-time workers on radio stations operated by UH Manoa until 1946 when they were deported back to Japan due to wartime loyalty oaths
The first European to landfall on the islands was Captain James Cook in 1779. In 1822, the Hawaiian Islands were annexed by America and became part of the United States of America. The following year, the U.S. military minted its first coins with an American Eagle design on them and began using them as currency. The island nation was created from these scattered pieces of land in 1959 when Hawaii became a state within the United States of America.
