Warner Robins is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia. The population was 124,898 as of the 2010 census, making it the second-largest city in Georgia after Atlanta. The original site of Warner Robins was near present-day Decatur Street and what is now Eastbound I-85 South. In 1836, when this part of Georgia became part of Alabama, James Warner donated land to make up for what he felt wasAlabama's wrong decision to secede from the Union during the American Civil War (1861–1865). This new town began to grow rapidly due to cotton plantations being established hereabouts and became known as "The Metropolis Of TheSouth." In 1881, after years of planning and construction spearheaded by Mayor John H Watkins Jr., WB built one of America’s first electric streetcar systems which linked many small towns within its borders. The system soon became an important transportation artery inWB’s rapidly growing metropolis; it still operates today! In 1907 – just prior to World War I – WB annexed much neighboring unincorporated territory forming what would becomeknown as “The City Of Atlanta” proper (the present day Tucker neighborhood) with limited public services available within its borders until annexation accomplished comprehensive development including public schools, parks & libraries etc.– thus creating one single jurisdictional entity that embraces all nine Gwinnett County municipalities theretofore unincorporated: Alabamian Heights / Sandy Springs ( eastside), Brookhaven / Midtown (southwest), Duluth Heights (northwest), Dunwoody Heights/Rosedale Estates / Druid Hills Northgate (northcentral), Flower Mound/Lenox Hill/Oakland Park West Side (westside), Johns Creek Valley /Milton Keynes Village/Kirkwood Highlands* *namesake: Perimeter village

Optical technology continued to develop throughout the 19th century and into the 20th century; however, some major advances were made during World War I when new types of optics were developed such as Japanese Kōga Nadeshiko jūkanpō or German Zeiss Sonnar T2 panoramic microscope cameras. During World War II, new developments in optics such as Rayleigh scattering led to improved image quality for military snipers and nightvision goggles. Additionally, advances in semiconductor computing led to several innovative technological innovations including high definition audio/video transmissions and low cost digital photo printing technologies. After World War II ended, there were renewed efforts to improve optical technology through research and development; however, many challenges remain though advancements continue at a rapid pace across various industries globally today.

Roosevelt authorized the development of the first entirely electronic lightbulb. This technology allowed for the creation of night skies that are strikingly different from those seen during day time.
Warner Robins was founded in 1868 by Andrew Warner and Ebenezer Robins. The town became a center for cotton production and developed into a major manufacturing center during the early 20th century. In addition to its commercial activities, Warner Robins also served as the primary location for many American colleges and universities. The town experienced significant growth during the 1930s when it became an important hub for the development of the Georgia economy. However, during World War II, Warner Robins was heavily bombed and lost much of its population due to the bombing offensive. After the war, Warner Robins struggled to maintain its former status as a manufacturing center and fell victim to economic decline throughout the 21st century. However, through initiatives such as land-use planning and marketing efforts, some recent advances have been made in behalf of Warner Robins which are likely to reverse its fortunes in the future.
Warner Robins was founded in 1871 by James Warner and his brother, John. The brothers developed a plantation on the Chattahoochee River, which they named after their father, who had died in 1858. The first crops were planted in 1872 and the family continued to grow crops until 1915. In that year, the brothers sold their interest in the plantation to their cousin, Jeptha Warner. After World War I, Warner Robins became an important manufacturing center for Atlanta. In 1927, it was renamed Marietta after General George Custer's death; Marietta is now part of Georgia's Cobb County.
