Union City, Georgia is a city of nearly 100,000 people located on the south bank of the Chattahoochee River. The city was founded in 1837 by General James E. Birney and is one of the oldest in Georgia. Union City has two major shopping centers - The Mall at Union City and The Square at Union City Park - as well as an array of smaller businesses and shops.
