The Stockbridge Rifle and Pistol Club consist of members who are interested in firearms, history, and the shooting sports. The club was founded in 1909 by three men; W.F. Hines, James Peele, and Harry Latham. The first meeting was held on November 3rd at the home of J.Peele. At that meeting it was decided to form a rifle and pistol club with a goal of promoting hunting and shooting in the community. In 1912, the club purchased two rifles from Mr. Gentry for use within the club’s grounds; one being an 8-gal shotgun used for target practice and one being a 10-gal pump action shotgun that would eventually be used as our main gun during duck hunting season when we had open fields near by to hunt ducks on! In 1916, we added another weapon to our arsenal when we acquired a 12 gauge Remington shotgun from Newton Hine of Athens (later part of Atlanta) which he gifted to us! We continued to add new weaponry over time such as shotguns (1922-1927), handguns (1929-1948), rifles (1950s-1960s), airguns (1965-1978), pistols (.380ACP & .45ACP) and even an explosive launcher in 1978! Our current arsenal features over 50 different firearms which can be fired including both indoor/outdoor ranges as well as clay pigeon Shooting events! Through all these years, the Stockbridge Rifle & Pistol Club has always been committed to foster interest in firearm ownership within its membership by offering educational opportunities such as NRA Basic courses offered quarterly through our NRA certified instructor(s). Additionally, we offer monthly social events where members can shoot games such as “Cannonball” or tag team competitions with other clubs across Georgia!

The company made ear plugs to protect the ears from gunfire and other noises, as well as to improve hearing aids for deaf people. In the 1940s, the company produced a line of ear plugs designed specifically for use during World War II.
Stockbridge, Georgia is a small town located in Glynn County, Georgia. The population was 5,811 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Glynn County. The first permanent settler in what is now Stockbridge was James Robertson in 1821. He and his family moved from Scotland to this area after being displaced by a land survey that showed their land would be too valuable for development.Robertson named the community after himself, Stockbridge-in-the-Island in honor of his birthplace on Islay near Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. He also donated part of his farmstead to the town as its first foundation block and contributed $10 each year towards building deficits until it reached $100 in 1907. In 1902, Aarons grocery store opened its doors and became one of the most important businesses in town. The store continued to operate until it closed its doors in 1984 due to lack of competition. Today only a few remnants remain from that time including some old shelves and fixtures still used at Aarons; however, the store itself has been demolished and replaced by a new shopping center which opened on July 1st 2009 across from local high school (Glynn High School). On October 26th 1909 two brothers founded The First National Bank Of Stockbridge with $5 thousand dollars deposit from thirteen investors who had pooled their money to start the bank. The stock market crash of 1929 led to serious financial problems for the bank but it reopened following government bailout that saved many other banks during that time period including The First National Bank Of Stockbridge On January 15th 1978 Hanes Mills Incorporated announced plans to open a new production line for hosiery products called “The Mills” outside of downtown Stockbridge which would create over 130 jobsidaltown residents were excited about this new opportunity with hopes it would bring more business into town and keep pace with industry growth elsewhere within Glynn County However when construction began on December 3rd 1978 all hell broke loose as ditch water backed up behind machinery causing significant damage and failure several brickslayers were lost along with most of the workers inside when they arrived at work; still today there are numerous images throughout downtown stockbridgewithstanding buildings collapsed or destroyedand extensive damage doneto infrastructurePile driver operator falls off tractor while moving product weightstockbridge mall destroyed by fire

Stockbridge, Georgia is a small town located in Decatur County, Georgia. The population was 573 at the 2010 census. It was founded in 1822 by colonists from England and named for Stockbridge, a village in the London district of England where some of the settlers had originated. A post office was established in 1827, and by 1840 there were six houses in the town. In 1845 a school was built, and by 1870 there were twenty-one residents. The community declined after World War II because of its low population density and lack of jobs opportunities. However, it has since revived as a residential community with many new homes being built over the past few years. The history of Stockbridge goes back to 1822 when colonists from England arrived in what is now Decatur County, Georgia. They named their town Stockbridge after their original village near which they resided - Stockbridge on Thames River in London borough of Southwark – where some English settlers had originated earlier that year. The first house to be built in the fledgling community was erected just east of present-day Main Street on December 12th, 1827; it served as headquarters for local farmers who engaged in market gardening during that early days before agricultural production became an important part of Georgian society. By 1840 there were six residences within sight of one another along Main Street; however, due to its low population density and lack of jobs opportunities throughout most of nineteenth century America (due largely to waves OF immigration), Stockbridge slowly lost popularity among its earliest residents until it formally ceased to exist as an incorporated municipality effective March 1st1900 Withdrawn from Decatur County effective that date due primarily to financial difficulties stemming from rapidly rising real estate prices resulting from peanut farming becoming more popularized following railroads' establishment westward through southern Georgia's open land corridor – although continuing operation as a day-to-day business until January 1st1911 When statehood finally came about following America's victory over Spain at San Jacinto – all but restoring municipal status under then newly elected Governor James Motes – Enoch Slaughter promptly reestablished municipal government with incorporation duly granted February 14th1881 Under his guidance development accelerated including extenuating circumstances leading to cessation occurring less than two months prior thereto including October 25th1880 Spurred by increased investment made by newly constituted Board Of Education led by Mayor Slaughter himself resulting soon thereafter purchasing ranches adjacent thereto thenceforth numbering seventeen total comprising nearly ninety percent inhabited areas ” Ibid., pgs 45-46
