The striping on these breechclothes helped keep things clean and tidy inside a battle-equipped soldier’s body. Breechclothes were also very versatile. They could be used for hunting or target shooting, as well as being used during riots or protests where there was no safe place to wear clothes other than around people with weapons. One downside to using breechclothes for these purposes was that they often got dirty quickly due to all the sweat and blood that came off of the person wearing them. This led to them becoming less popular over time though they did continue to be worn in some settings until the 20th century. The next type of firearm Clothing was known as a “jacket” or “jumper” jacket. These jackets were made out of heavy canvas material which allowed for plenty of airflow while wearing them Independent from any other gear on the person’s body (eagle chest rig included). These jackets also had openings at either side allowing officers/combatants to carry their sidearm concealed without worry about it getting covered in dirt or dust while walking around town etc.). However, this type of jacket became less popular after World War II because so much combat gear now featured holsters instead of pockets and gunmen had grown comfortable carrying handguns openly without fear that their ammunition would get caught up in their jacked up pants when taking aim at another citizen! St. Marys, Georgia is a small town located in Webster County, Georgia. The population was 1,624 at the 2010 census. It is the most populous community in Webster County and the second most populous community in Georgia after Atlanta. The first settler in St. Marys was James Dobson who arrived in 1835. A post office called "St. Mary's" was established in 1841, and remained open until 1863 when it was renamed "Webster". The community of St. Marys grew rapidly due to its location on the route between Savannah and Athens and its proximity to railroad tracks. By 1865, there were over 100 residents living in St.Marys. In 1867, a schoolhouse was built within the limits of St.Marys by local landowners John Sibley and Levi Peake for grades one through twelve years old; this school closed about 1975-1976 due to budgetary restrictions placed by then-Governor Zell Miller). The first Baptist church in Stryker Township was organized on November 15th, 1870 by Revd Lemuel Kelley with Reverend David Crain as pastor (the first pastor of that church also served as moderator). The First Baptist Church continued services until 1917 when they merged with another Baptist church which also served as their merger destination (the new congregation's name reverted back to First Baptist Church - Webster County). In 1916, First Baptist Chapel moved from its original location behind the Merchants National Bank building into what is now known as Third Street United Methodist Church (later Mrs.'Moses Mosley's Restaurant) which overlooked Highway 22 just east of town center before moving again into Fourth Street Presbyterian Episcopal Zion Church during World War II when that part of town became military housing for GIs (now known as Veterans Affairs Hospital/Stryker Manor apartments).
On November 17, 1814, St. Marys Parish was established in what is now northeastern Georgia. The parish was named for the sacred Mount of Olives which was located in the town of Tel Aviv, Mandatory Palestine at the time. The first pastor of the new parish was Father John Donnan who served from 1814-1821. In 1821, Father Timothy Carroll replaced Father Donnan and held office until his death on May 3, 1830. In 1831, Reverend James McFarlane arrived to serve as pastor and held office until his death on December 14th, 1861. Reverend McFarlane's successor Rev. Lorenzen Tabor served from 1861-1868 and then Rev. Edward Acker took over from him and held office until his death on October 15th, 1886. Then Reverend John Hickey served as pastor until he resigned due to health reasons on January 5th 1889 and Rev. Harry Wesselmann was appointed to succeed him on that date. From 1889-1893 Reverend Wesselmann served as acting pastor before being named permanent pastor effective January 7th 1893 after Draconis died without an heir apparent at age 79 years old leaving a large estate behind which facilitated church growth in southeastern Georgia during this time period including land purchases throughout much of Northeast Georgia beginning in earnest with establishment of parishes such as Stony Point (1901), Dahlonega (1902), Johns Creek (1903), Poarch Island (1905) By 1905 there were also three missions within Stony Point Parish: Bethel/New Jerusalem Mission (founded 1902), Our Lady of Lourdes Mission (founded 1911) & Immaculate Conception Mission(founded 1916). These missions are no longer operational but their remains can still be found inside the present day Stony Point Church building which has been used by various churches since its creation forty years ago!
