This development led to increased business activity in Snellville which caused its population to swell from 3,000 to 10,000 over just twelve years time. However, World War II eventually took its toll onSnallvillians with many losing their jobs or having their businesses closed because of wartime shortages; however, some managed to rebuild their lives post-war with new technologies and prospering businesses that continue today such as AMD Ryzen chips (which are manufactured here), Amazon Web Services’ cloud services (used by both government agencies and large corporations), and Brownson's hogs (the first hog farm in America).
