In 1990 EMSD merged with Lucasfilm Ltd.(NYSE: LSC) forming Advanced Electronics Technologies Corporation (ATEC) which continued making products under various brand names including Browning/Bauer(Browning Firearms Corp.), GE/Atmel(General Electric Co.). About 10% of all firearms sales worldwide are made through licensed dealers known as FFL owners according to NICS data….. With wartime production came growth and development that increased housing prices and destroyed muchofthe originalresidential fabric within the old townsite itself-though some remnants survive today as villages clustered around military bases or along I-85 corridors close to major commercial areas. In recent decades there has been significant redevelopment effort taking place around Interstate 285 which forms the eastern edge of town; this has led to increased densification among both residents and businesses within walking distance shouldered by high-end restaurants (including several Nobel Prize winners), high-rise apartments overlooking downtown streetscape, light industrial buildings along I-285 corridor extending into three directions beyond downtown core – all while maintaining access to public transportation including MARTA trains running through town center directly to downtown Atlanta or State College Station just outside town limits
