Pooler, Georgia is a small town in Decatur County, Georgia. It was founded in 1821 as a cotton plantation by General James Wilkinson and his family. The community developed into a farming community with tobacco plantations and lumberyards until the early 20th century when it became an agricultural center for the surrounding counties. The town's economy slowly transitioned to manufacturing during the 1920s when Pooler became the home of the Pooler Motor Company which manufactured automobiles and other vehicles. The company closed its doors in the 1970s and left behind a legacy of manufacturing innovation that has continued to this day. In recent years, Pooler has become known for its annual pool tournament which is one of the most popular events in the region. Today, Pooler remains a vibrant community with active businesses and cultural attractions such as its annual pool tournament which draws many visitors from throughout central Georgia. Its history is reflective of their current culture and identity, which continues to be shaped by successive waves of immigrants who have brought their traditions and values along with them when they arrived here over time.

In 1942 the Earplug Company merged with another business, the tympaniophone company, to form the Tympaniophone Corporation. In 1965 the Earplug Corporation merged with a similar business, RCA Victor Inc., to form RCA/Earpogaphone Corporation.
Pooler is a small town in rural Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 2,927 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chattanooga metropolitan area. The community was named after George Pooler, who came to the area in 1825 and erected a log cabin on what is now its square mile (0.8 km²). He also built a gristmill and store. In 1865, J.P. Pooler purchased of land from the state for $1 per acre (0.50 hectares). He founded the village ofPooler on this property and began to build churches, schools and other infrastructure. He died in 1892 and his wife continued to run their home until her death in 1902; both she and their son had preceded him in running Pooler Village. J.-P.'s widow sold most of her holdings to members of her family in 1905 before dying herself three years later without leaving any children behind - another pooling tragedy! Pooler Village proper remained dormant until 1955 when it was resurrected by Reverend Wm Hinson as an educational institution known as Highland Park School District #2 with Rev Hinson as its first Superintendent/CEO/President-elect! In 1957 Lake Pontchartrain shipping line dock opened up just south of town –development brought about by business people looking for more explorable territory –and led directly to today’s economy with much new housing being constructed within minutes’ walk or bike ride from downtown Pooler! Today there are over 150 businesses located within walking distance or biking distance of downtown; no wonder so many people have moved here since we were founded sixty years ago!

On July 1, 1973, Garnett County was divided into three new counties: Clarke County (including portions of Pooler), Floyd County (including parts of Garnett), and Swain County (including portions of Pooler).
On December 5, 1810, John Pooler became the first white settler in what is now known as Georgia. He and his family moved from Connecticut to what is now Pooler County after the American Revolution.
