During World War II many factories produced munitions including Bethlehem Steel Corporation's Huntsville plant which produced tanks and other military items; United Aircraft Company's Plant One at Pinson Army Airfield (later Park Field); and Raytheon Missile Factory at Point Pleasant Arsenal where missiles were being developed for use in World War II
