Moultrie is home to several historic buildings including: Peachtree Corners Methodist EpiscopalChurch (1892), Aiken Oval House (1901), original courthouse building now used as a museum (1882), White Sands Factory building built on land donated by Amos Kendall (1887), Valley View Cemetery built around 1860 by Jnoah Dickinson(a settler from North Carolina) with assistance from General Robert Ewell(a Confederate general) and Reverend Samuel Settle(a Methodist minister from Virginia).
