Mcdonough, Georgia is a small town in the southwestern part of the United States. It is located on the north-central border of Fulton County and is bordered by DeKalb County to the east and south, Cobb County to the west, and Paulding County to the northwest. The population was 2,811 at the 2010 census. The first scopes were made in Mcdonough in 1876 by a group of men from Boston who had come down to sell land in that area. In 1878, scopes were made by Elisha Gray for use with telescopes at his home on Catawba River. By 1880, there were several opticians in Mcdonough selling scopes and eyepieces. In 1902, J.B. Stephens purchased an interest in Alcorn Optical Company which manufactured telescopes and other optical equipment including scopes and eyepieces. Alcorn continued making telescopes until it merged with another company in 1922. By 1924, all telescope production had ceased due to World War II shortages of materials; however, some older models such as those built before 1920 are still being used today by amateur astronomers around the world! In 1925–1926, Dr Homer Crayman set up his own optical laboratory here at 625 W Main St., specializing in instrumentation for photography and astronomy research; he published two papers on this work (one dealing specifically with photographic optics). His lab was later moved to 601 S McClendon Ave., where it continues to operate as Crayton Observatory today! In 1937–1938 Guy Cecil [ reportedly ] began producing high power Schmidt-Cassegrain binoculars using a new manufacturing process he developed called “Polaroid” film manufacture - Starting out with single sheets of 6x6cm Kodak Polaroid film which were then cut into pieces about 1in wide & 3in long they would produce thousands of rounds/day! Eventually they produced hundreds of products each week!] In 1951–1952 John Ayscough started making astrographs using chrome plated brass or nickel silver optics - These became very popular among amateur astronomers because their resolution was much better than those available at that time from ordinary glass scope lenses! Many famous professional astronomers also bought Astrographs during this time including Messier fame astronomer Edwin Hubble !

John Mcdonough was born in Mcdonough, Georgia on October 27, 1892. He attended Grady College and then served in World War I as a lieutenant in the Army. After the war he worked for many years as an accountant. In 1961, he was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives and later served as Speaker of the House from 1971 to 1973. From 1978 to 1981, he was Secretary of State of Georgia. He died in Athens, Georgia on January 7, 1984.

By 1837, however, most residents had left for various reasons or because they were patents into Indian Territory (now Oklahoma). A few families remained until after the war when much of East Tennessee had become open territory controlled by Mexico through treaties signed by President Polk following Texas' annexation into Mexico. In 1861, Confederate forces attacked Fort Sumter in South Carolina and quickly abandoned their siege; this event led to Abraham Lincoln becoming president and siding with the Confederacy over Unionism. In 1865, shortly after Confederate troops retreating from Chattanooga surrendered there instead surrendered all but one regiment—the 5th Georgia Infantry Regiment—to Union troops under Brigadier General Nathan Bedford Forrest on orders from Secretary Stanton. This event helped define Atlanta as a city ruled largely by white men including soldiers from both sides while Black Americans continued to live primarily within limits established by law enforcement officers operating outside those bounds. Reconstruction followed in which African Americans were given civil rights similar to those enjoyed by whites; however some aspects continue to be protested today such as unequal voting opportunities for black voters statewide beginning before World War II even though that issue has been addressed through legislation throughout history leading up to today's system.). After Reconstruction ended following World War II African Americans re-entered Atlanta Heights where they first began working towards integration into white society although some continue protests today about lack thereof
Mcdonough was founded in 1807 by John McDonough and his wife, Catherine. The town became an important trading center for the region and prospered until the American Civil War. After the war, Mcdonough declined to take part in Reconstruction, which caused some resentment. In the late 19th century, McMorrow experienced a boom period thanks to its location at the intersection of two major railroads. However, during the Great Depression, McMorrow lost its prosperity and fell into obscurity. Today, it is a small town with a population of around 100 people.
