Bipedalism has been around for over a million years, and some of the first bipedal animals were small camels. In Macon, Georgia, there are several examples of these early bipedal creatures that have yet to be fully analyzed. One example is a small camel known as the Big Top Camels. The Big TopCamels lived in what is now Macon from about 12,000 to 4500 BP. They were likely ancestors of modern camels and horses. The first human beings in Macon also appeared around this time. These humans were known as the Mississippians and they arrived around 1400 BP. The Mississippian culture was one of the earliest cultures to develop agriculture and build cities in what is now Macon County, Georgia. During this time period, humans began migrating out of Africa and into North America; however, no evidence exists to support the theory that bipeds migrated with these humans. It is instead believed that common animals such as camels and dogs Did not participate in human migration because they couldn’t walk on two legs like we can today- which would have required significant strength and dexterity for such an undertaking! Eventually, many different animal species became involved in human migrations- including mammoths (which are still extinct), great apes (such as gorillas), horses, bison, elk, deer, etcetera! However, it is unlikely that any large mammal such as a camel or dog assisted with human migration because they simply couldn’t do it on their own! Instead it seems most likely that smaller animals helped carry people and goods across long distances! This may be why there isn’t any evidence to support the claim that bipeds migrated with humans during this time period- because most likely those animals did not have sufficient strength or dexterity to assist them!

Macon, Georgia is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia and the county seat of Macon County. The population was 104,811 in 2017. It is the second-largest city in Georgia after Atlanta and has been the fastest-growing municipality in Macon County for over 20 years. As of 2018, it had a population of 111,887 people making it the largest municipality in Macon County by population size. The first Europeans to visit what is now Macon were traders from Spain who landed there on May 16, 1540; they named the place "Macon" after their leader Rodrigo de Mendoza y Menendez. The first permanent European settlement was made by Captain John Smith on July 5, 1712 when he founded a trading post at Petaluma Creek with his family as the nucleus of what would become Augusta County according to present day law. The town began as an agricultural community with small huts built along Petaluma Creek until 1819 when transportation became available at a more centralized location near today's downtown area which then became known as Woodstock. A road connecting Savannah and Athens was completed in 1827 which allowed more people to proceed westward and eventually led to Macon’s growth because it became an entry point into those larger markets. In 1830, construction started on what would become Peachtree Street—the first commercial street in Macon—and soon thereafter other streets followed suit including Court Street (now Fayette Street), Third Avenue (now Peachtree Street), Vine Street (now Chatham Boulevard), McClendon Avenue (now Auburn Avenue) and Dunlap Boulevard (now Northside Boulevard). Macon was incorporated as a town on December 14th, 1868 by ordinance of the General Assembly under Charter No 2111 granted to it by Governor Augustus Porterfield upon recommendation of Mayor James Hancey following approval from a referendum held November 3rd that year which resulted in over 60% voting YES on incorporation based upon recommendations given by both Mayor Hancey and District Attorney Isaac Brownell who also presided over that referendum process. On January 1st 1870 again pursuant to ordinance No 2111 passed by General Assembly at its meeting held on December 8th one thousand nine hundred fifty two votes were cast for incorporation with twenty three members being appointed thenceforward viz: Jno Broughton Asst District Attorney Mr Elijah Alexander Superintendent Of Schools Geo Wills Treasurer Geo Coker Engineer A Ivey Dr Henry Clinton Physician Dr Samuel Lewis dentist Abel Willard Teacher Mrs Jane Goodloe homemaker In 1889 voters approved an amendment providing for female suffrage within municipal limits effective February 15th 1890 however this did not lead to any real progress until 1928 when women got involved through local group Women’s Civic League who formed themselves into “The Ladies Citizens Club” Incorporating as “Macon Woman’s Club” effective March 25TH 1928 finally leading to election results certifying them as their own political body separate from City Hall even though City Hall continued functioning as an administrative center dealing with all public records civic functions elections etc... . From its establishment until 1971 – long before Atlanta annexed most or all of Gwinnett County – Macon functioned primarily as part of DeKalb Township but saw limited development due mainly to lack of financial resources combined with high demand for land within DeKalb Township itself resulting largely from cotton plantations existing adjacent thereto stretching back many centuries nearlyto present day across several counties including Fulton, Cobb, Dekalb & Hamilton
