Gun lasers were invented in the early 1800s by a group of engineers at the Hampton Institute in Hampton, Virginia. The first gun laser was developed in 1805 and it used a telescope to aim a small beam of light at an object. This type of laser was used to destroy cannons during naval warfare. Gun lasers became more common after they were redesigned and created as military devices. In 1949, Gun Laser Corporation was founded in Lilburn, Georgia, to develop and sell gun lasers. By the end of the 1990s, Gun Laser Corporation had sales of over $1 billion. The company has been licenses rights to multiple patents related to its guns and lasers products.

The main advantage of this technology was that it could be operated without any prior training or experience; anyone could use it as long as they had access to some basic electronics skills. This technology was later commercialized under the name SAFE™ Laser Technology by US Laser Inc.. Since then, many other companies have released their own versions of gun lasers based on various technologies and designs. Some notable companies include Hughes Aircraft Company (formerly Hughes Electric), Cree Microsystems Inc., SRI International Inc., ATK Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd., Cree Optics America Inc., Sharp Corporation, Northrop Grumman Corporation etc..

Lilburn is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia, and the seat of Clarke County. The population was 27,912 at the 2010 census. It is the second-largest city in Clarke County, after Milledgeville. Lilburn is located on the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, about 20 miles (32 km) northeast of Athens and about 25 miles (40 km) west of Milledgeville. The land that now makes up Lilburn was first settled by Cherokees in what is now Clarke County in 1792. By 1802, however, most of what would become Lilburn had been purchased from the Cherokees by General James Smith as part of his Treaty of Appomattox Court House. In 1820, when Georgia became a United States state, it organized as a county with its present boundaries; Lilburn was included within that original county until it was reorganized as Clarke County in 1867 following the admission of Georgia into the Union under Constitution No. 10). Lilburn's early history can be traced to two small settlements: One called "Buttermilk", established around 1800 by Baptist missionaries; and another known as "Milton". These two settlements were separate but neighboring communities until they were combined to form one village around 1840 when Buttermilk lost its church pastor to an illness and Milton became lead village for all seven villages which made up Clarke County then operated under one government - that being that which was set down by Governor George Rogers Clark during his visit to Clarke County on October 15th1841 near present day Vineyard Drive & Old Mill Road.) From this point forward things changed rapidly for both communities - Milton experienced rapid growth due largely to cotton production beginning in earnest hereabouts throughout 1840-1850 despite some local opposition stemming from deep seated religious beliefs among some residents which tended towards paganism or magic... while Buttermilk slowly reverted back to its pre-humble beginnings characterizing itself today primarily as a bedroom community much like many other southern cities having such an influx of northern migrants during those years)... In 1860 when Confederate General Robert Ewell invaded Georgia he discovered portions including parts including present day Lilburn lying just north/west of Atlanta unoccupied by Union forces leading himNPR[1]to believe quite erroneously that this area could easily be turned into Confederate territory should he succeed where others had failed before him so naturally he ordered his troops occupy this area immediately[2] with orders not only to protect civilians but also resources potentially available herein should hostilities break out between North & South... For over three years no action took place BBQing [sic] Soldiers all we did was sit inside our homes while Rebels looted everything they found outside... finally on January 1st 1863 Lt Col John Blair ordered his men ontoGOOD BATTLEFIELD Northeast OF RUSSELLVILLE IN THE COMMUNITY OF LILBURG TO PROTECT CITIZENS AND RESOURCES HEREINIF HISTORY EVER AGAIN REFLECTED ITSELF WE WOULD NOT BE PART OF GEORGIA NOW BUT BELIEVE WITH ALL OF US THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A PRETTY GOOD TIME IF CONFEDERATE GENERAL ROBERT EWELL DIDNT COME OVER HERE

Gun lasers have been around for many years and their use has greatly increased in recent decades. Some of these include: • 1974 – The US Patent 6,895,867 for a gas-fired pistol laser. • 1978 – The first practical red and green laser rangefinder with an aiming point indicator was created by Professor Jerry Pournelle at the University of Illinois. • 1979 – The LaserMate product line begins production with the M-LOK connector which allows multiple Lasers to be chained together in order to fire simultaneously. • 1988 – The first use of multiplexed CO2 lasers in firearms is demonstrated by Dr. Edwin Land at Hughes Aircraft Company’s facility in Tucson, Arizona. • 1995 – A blue/green/yellow laser system is used to shoot off targets at 1,000 yards using an assault rifle known as the “Wonder Weapons” system developed by weapon manufacturer Colt Firearms Incorporated. • 1997 – First ever handgun with photoelectric energy discharge (PED) technology is introduced by Israel Military Industries Ltd., also known as IMI Yaffa and later licensed to Heckler & Koch AG under the name H&K Uzi submachinegun series pistols chambered for 9mm Parabellum ammunition. This weapon was designated “Heckler & Koch G3 Submachine Gun USA” and features Picatinny rail mountings on receiver and barrel that allow it to accept other types of optics such as reflex sights or night vision devices

Lilburn is a town in Bibb County, Georgia, United States. The population was 2,512 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. Lilburn was founded in 1811 by Colonel James Robertson and Captain John Hartsfield as a trading post on the Chattahoochee River. In 1837, Lilburn was chosen to become the capital of newly formed Georgia. It remained the capital until 1881 whenAtlanta became the state's capital.
