King'sland, Georgia was originally founded in 1785 by the DeKalb County, Georgia peach farmers. The area would come to be known for its hard gun cases and other firearms-related artifacts. In 1881, a store called the King's Land Gun Emporium opened up in what is now Kingsland. The store served as a hub for local gun enthusiasts and offered a variety of firearms including shotguns, rifles, handguns and more. By 1932, the store had closed but its legacy has live on in the form of today's King's Land Gun Emporium.

Kingsland is a town in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 9,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. Kingsland was founded in 1819 by Captain John Kingsbury and his family as a small settlement on the Chattahoochee River near what is now Decatur. The community grew rapidly during the antebellum period, thanks to its location on a major transportation artery and its status as a trading post for goods from central Alabama and Tennessee. In 1836, King's Land became an incorporated village when it absorbed parts of Athenstown and Pauldingtown. The town experienced growth during World War II, with development of munitions plants and other industries adding thousands of residents to the area. The postwar years were marked by slowed economic activity, however; Kingston lost some of its importance after 1980 when Interstate 85 bypassed it. Today, Kingston remains an important commercial center with few public services remaining available aside from police and fire protection. However, there are plans to revive the town's economy through initiatives such as developing new businesses or increasing tourism opportunities; both have been met with mixed reactions from residents

Zimmerman's defense has suggested that he may have been defending himself against an unarmed African American boy who had trespassed on his property- even though there is no evidence that Trayvon ever posed a threat to Zimmerman or anyone else

Kingsland is a city in Cobb County, Georgia, United States. The population was 21,591 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The name "Kingsland" comes from the Cherokee word kingshan (a type of maize). Kingsland was platted in 1837 by General George A. Cushing and named for his father-in-law General James Kingsbury who had served as a general in the American Revolution and then as a U.S. Senator from Georgia from 1796 to 1800. The town developed around an sawmill that functioned until 1857 when it closed because of financial difficulties brought on by development around the railroad junction near present day Kingsland Boulevard and Interstate 285/Alfred Dunkel Avenue. In 1863, construction began on what would become Gwinnett County's first courthouse, which was completed in 1865 and replaced an earlier courthouse built in 1792 on nearby Lumpkin Road. In 1867, the town became one of several counties within Cobb County when it was organized; it remained so until 1893 when it became one of five municipalities within Cobb County proper (the others beingMarietta,Peachtree City, Sandy Springs, Duluth). In 1912 King's Mill property became parcel number 521 of DeKalb County for land grant to John Ladd III who used it to start Chattahoochee Electric Railway Company which soon reached Fulton Station with its first train service between Fulton and Decatur on January 1st 1913 making Kingsland one of only two cities east of the Mississippi River without rail transportation at that time! The electric railway company built four more stations before cessation operations on December 31st 1914 due to World War I shortages however streetcar service continued until 1966 along with pedestrian walkways serving most parts of downtown since streetcar tracks crossed Cook Street just south of Livingston Avenue today you can find remnants Of these bridges still standing today across Cook Street from old First National Bank building where now Glynn College campus stands
