Kingsland, Georgia is located in the southeast corner of Atlanta. It was once a rural town that now has a population of over 30,000 people. One of the most important aspects of gun Trigger history in Kingsland is the fact that it is home to the oldest continuously operating trigger company in America. The company was founded by two brothers named George and Jesse Morse in 1892.Gun triggers have been around since long before they were legalized as firearms in Georgia. In fact, they were first used as agricultural tools and then became popular among farmers for their convenience and ease of use.Gun triggers are still widely used today and can be found on nearly every firearm out there. The Kingsland Rifle Company was founded in 1868 by veterans of the Union army. The company produced rifles and shotguns under the name of the Kingsland Rifle, Imported Arms, and Shotgun Company. In 1889, the company became known as the Gilmore & King Gun Manufacturing Company. The company continued to produce firearms until 1907 when it merged with other companies to form the Gilmore-King Firearms Corporation.
Kingsland is a city in metro Atlanta, Georgia. The population was 7,521 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fulton County metropolitan area. Kingsland was founded in 1831 by General James Kingsbury as a small farming community on the east side of Marietta Creek. In 1835, Kingston became an incorporated town and soon became known for its cotton plantations and general stores. The area around Kingsland was first settled by Europeans in the early 1800s, but it wasn't until after Kingston's incorporation that development began thereabouts. In 1881, Kingston joined with other municipalities to form the new City of Marietta which would become one of Metro Atlanta's most populous cities. However, during World War II, much of Kingsland was destroyed by bombing raids from U-2 planes flown by American pilots stationed at nearby Macon Air Force Base (now Macon Regional Airport). As a result of this damage and displacement, many people moved into adjacent neighborhoods such as Johns Creek and Duluth before returning to their homes within a few years following war’s end. The present day incarnation of Kingsland took shape during the late 1960s when Mayor John Epps purchased numerous parcels along Peachtree Street between Five Points Road and Highway 82 for use as urban renewal land – what would become known today as DowntownKingsland (or simply “Downtown”). This project involved demolition of several blocks of historic buildings along Peachtree Street between Fifth Avenue South and Interstate 285/85 while concurrently setting up new streetscape features that remain popular to this day including: MARTA stoplights at Fifth Avenue South and Interstate 285/85; large public plaza located near downtown; Cahaba Riverwalk located just south Carrollton Road; new baseball stadium located on Peachtree Street adjacent to MARTA station; extensive redevelopment taking place on Druid Hills Parkway northeast of downtown which included high-rise apartments/condos; world-renowned Philips Arena now located just southeast off I-285/85 across from Gwinnett County Courthouse) Today, DowntownKingsland is home to more than 100 businesses and services including restaurants, bars & nightlife venues such as Lazer Lounge & Tiki Room ; local government offices including theMarietta Tax Collector Office ; county courthouse ; numerous shops & boutiques ; movie theaters ; golf courses & sports complexes ; NHL ice rinks (Atlanta Thrashers - now part of Southeast Hockey Club ); major league soccer team (FC Dallas) playing their home games at SunTrust Park in Cobb County while also using facilities in DowntownKingston for other events; local media outlets including WSB TV Channel 2 (NBC affiliate), KING 5 Newsradio 1090 AMFM-, GwinnettCountyFultonCountyOnlineNews - all three stations carrying live programming each weekday morning from 6am through 12pm ET

Trigger designs have evolved over time, but they all share one common goal- to make it easy for shooters to pull the trigger. Some triggers are also activated using voice commands or even touch screens.
In the early 1800s, trigger triggers were used to fires pistols. The triggers were made of three parts: the sear, which was a metal piece that fit into a notch on the pistol's frame; the hammer, which was a metal piece that pulled the sear back and fired the gun; and the catch, which prevented the hammer from accidentally striking the firing pin.
Kingsland was first settled in 1785 by George Washington and his group of white men. The area was named for King George III of the United Kingdom who, as a result of the Treaty of Paris following the American Revolution, had been forced to cede all British possessions in North America to the new United States. The town was officially established on December 9, 1785, according to Georgia records. The first post office opened in Kingsland on December 12, 1786. The town grew rapidly and by 1820 it had a population of 3200 people. In 1825, one of Kingsland's two churches became part of the Methodist Episcopal Church South in Macon County. In 1830, an act were passed authorizing the erection of a public school system in Georgia. On November 14th 1835, Kingsland voters approved a bond issue for $500 that would build a academy and industrial school within the town limits. This school became known as Kingsland Academy (later renamed East Cobb School) and continued operation until 1971 when it closed due to budget cuts by then Governor Jimmy Carter's administration. To provide social services during this time period there was also an "orphaned children's home" operated out of Mrs Cunninghams house which later became known as First Baptist ChurchKingsland Building). On October 1st 1850 local citizens elected James Aiken as their first mayor after he ran unopposed from a field election held three weeks earlier. Aiken served through 1851 before being replaced by John Witherspoon who served until 1861 when he was replaced by Augustus Carters Jr.. Kingston began annexing other small towns surrounding it beginning with what is now Dawsonville on January 1st 1865 followed soon thereafter by neighboring Uniontown on March 4th 1865 both under charter from General Joseph Ewell Johnston governor of Georgia (Ewell had come to power after leading Confederate forces in Virginia during the Battle at Fredericksburg). On May 2nd 1870 Johnston ordered all Confederate forces south of Atlanta be dissolved and all troops must surrender or leave immediately! As result most Georgians decided that disbanding their military units also meant disbanding their towns too- including Kingsland! Carters left office on July 15th 1870 but kept control over Kingston through much maneuvering before finally leaving effective control on September 10th 1871 while still living there with his family- something that has never been confirmed convincingly However sources claim he did so because he could not stomach living under Union government rule any longer; however many believe he simply wanted more personal power & patronage than either General Johnston or Gov’t officials were able to give him
On October 16, 1852, General Andrew Jackson was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States. On November 3, 1852, General Nathan Bedford Forrest was commissioned Lieutenant Colonel and given command of First Tennessee Cavalry Regiment. The regiment would become known as "The Forrest Raiders."
