In 1830, Stephens married Sarah Greenlaw and moved to Kingsland with her; they raised five children here. Daniels took over Stephens’ business in 1865 and operated it until his death in 1895. During this time, Daniels published several small newspapers, including one called the Athens Republican which served as the paper of record for elections in Athens County from 1875-1925.
Kingsland is an unincorporated community in Cobb County, Georgia, United States. The population was 621 at the 2010 census.
