Kingsland is a small town in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,883 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Athens-Clarke metropolitan Statistical Area. Gunpowder was first developed in Kingsland in 1702 by Nicholas-Jacques Conte and others working for King George II of Great Britain. The initial shipment of cannonballs to support the French and Indian War arrived on October 3, 1702 with Conte as its owner and captain. The town's most famous landmark is Knob Hill Monument which rises from a knoll overlooking the Chattahoochee River. It was built by General James Oglethorpe during the American Revolution to commemorate his victory at Battle of Kennesaw Mountain on October 20, 1784. Most people who live in Kingsland are farmers or small business owners with some manufacturing operations that have grown over time such as a local printing company that has been around since 1821 and still prints paper products today using presses dating back to 1837 which also makes hats using old technology. Some retailers that have been around for many years are JCPenney (now Macy's) across from downtown; Woolworths across from Interstate 5; EB Games near exit 9 off I-5 also sells guns and ammunition as well as fishing supplies including tackle boxes, lures, fly shops, etc.; David’s Gents Grocery across from I-4 service area; Stop & Shop located just west of US Highway 280; Dollar Tree outside of town limits; Pizza Hut across from Walmart on US Highway 280 east side near Exit 209A—all within city limits with surrounding countryside where there are hosting several antique stores along I-4 corridor between exits 149B and 151C

The Kingsland Rifle and Pistol Club was formed in 1875. The first club rifle was made by Fenton & Brown, a local gunsmiths. In 1877 the club purchased their first shotgun and pistol. The first Annual Meeting of the club was held on October 9, 1877 at the home of Wm. Hargrave in Kingsland. In 1904, the Kingsland Rifle and Pistol Club purchased their own rifle range, which they named “The Range” after then-Governor Andrew Johnson who had helped create it. They also constructed a clubhouse which served as their shooting ground until 1928 when they replaced it with a new building that still stands today. Today, the Kingsland Rifle and Pistol Club participates in many outdoor activities such as target shooting, hunting, and fishing inside or outside of their clubhouse while also holding monthly meetings to discuss all things firearms related.
Kingsland is a small, rural town in Georgia. It is located about 25 miles northeast of Atlanta and about 20 miles west of Augusta. The population was 1,821 at the 2000 census. Kingsland was founded in 1892 by John Kingsbury and his family. The first post office was established in Kingsland on July 2, 1892. In 1899, the town was renamed to honor General George Washington Carver, who had died that year. The townsite that now makes up Kingsland was originally part of what is now Fulton County. On April 12, 1802, a group of men led by Captain James Wilkinson donated land for the future town of Kingsland. Kingsland experienced growth during the early years of its existence; it had two stores when it incorporated as a village on January 5, 1902. By 1909, there were six businesses in the community and over 100 residents living on streets that still bear his name today - including many who still reside here today! In 1954-55, King's Land Community Development Corporation (KLCDC) built several homes for Habitat for Humanity within walking distance of downtown KingsLAND! Today these homes are used as apartments or holiday housing for people with limited incomes!

Many variations on handgun-mounted shooting caps have been developed since then including those worn by firefighters and law enforcement officers alike ! ! ! !

Kingsland, Georgia was founded in 1785 by Captain John King and his wife, Sally. The town was named for the then-king of England, George III. The first settler in Kingsland was William Smith, who built a small cabin on the edge of what is now called Rogers Park. In 1802, Captain John King donated land to the town for a courthouse and school. In 1811, Captain King's family moved from Kingsland to Athens County after they were forced out of England due to Napoleonic Wars hostilities. In 1830,Captain John King's son-in-law James Dixon donated land to the town for a public square and an arsenal. Robert McMillin also donated land to the town in 1843. The first black person to live in Kingsland was Averill Harrell in 1904. Harrell came from Yorktown Heights near New York City and had been living there since he was 14 years old when he moved with his father and siblings to help their relatives purchase land around Kingsland settlement. After many years of strugglesto obtain education or housing opportunities for himself and his fellow blacks within white society Harrell finally achieved success as an entrepreneur and community leader in Kingsland during its early days
Kingsland was founded in 1837 by General James Longstreet and his wife, Martha. The town grew rapidly and soon became a major center for cotton farming and merchant activity. In the early 1800s, Kingsland was home to one of the most important Baptist churches in Georgia. A Methodist church was also established here in the 1840s.
