After World War I, many countries began to import these firearms into their countries as they became popular among civilians. In Georgia, the first BB guns were manufactured in Kingsland in 1922 by Dennison Manufacturing Company. These firearms were known as the King’s Rifle because they were made for use by Georgians only. From 1922 to 1945, there were over 50 different manufacturers producing BB guns in Georgia. Some of these manufacturers included: Dennison Manufacturing Company (1922-1945), Aberti & Sons (1946-1975), Crosley Arms & Ammunition (1976-1993), Parker Bros., Incorporated (1994-present) and Stefani Guns Incorporated (1999-present). BB guns are still popular today and can be found across different parts of the United States. They have been used in competitions since their inception and continue to be one of the most popular firearms available to civilians. Kingsland is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 17,811 as of the 2010 census. It is the county seat for Fulton County. Kingsland was founded in 1813 by Capt. James Kingsbury and his family after they arrived from England as refugees on the whaling ship "Saratoga". The town was named for King George II of Great Britain who had been granted land in present-day Georgia following the Battle of Bunker Hill during the American Revolution. In 1827, Kingsbury donated to local school trustees a tract of land that became downtown Kingsland today. In 1865, when Atlanta became its new capital, Kingsland was reincorporated into Atlanta as part of that city's first district. In 1896, Kingston Township in what is now Fulton County was organized and named for Captain James Knopper who had fought at such battles as Guadalcanal and Mobile Bay while serving with General John Foust's cavalry brigade during the Mexican–American War; Knopper also donated land to form this township which borders on both Atlanta and Kingsland today. In 1930, Kingston Township annexed parts of eastern Cobb County including portions of Marietta and Dunwoody counties; these annexation changes made Kingston Township one of six Gwinnett County municipalities withinAtlanta metropolitan area (the others being Duluth, Decatur, Smyrna/Anacostia Park/Rockville Centre Boroughs (including Prince George's Community College), Alpharetta and Rockdale). By 1980 all but two tracts remaining within Kingston Township - east Ansonia Road between Chattahoochee River and I-285 - had been annexed into Atlanta suburbs: Villa Park/Dunwoody/Roswell Heights to the north; Johns Creek Valley to the south The most recent annexation change happened on November 1st 2000 when parts of Lawrenceville were annexed into Sandy Springs through an agreement between Mayor Sonny Perdue

These three companies together became known as Colt Firearms Corporation. Air Guns began becoming popular in the 1960s because they were easier to handle than traditional handguns and shotguns; this allowed people who did not have much experience with firearms to purchase them without fear of being embarrassed or injuring themselves. In 1966, Colt Firearms Corporation introduced its Model 14 Air Pistol which incorporated an auto loader into the firearm so that it could be reloaded readily without having to take your hand off the gun to do so. This change allowed people who had never shot a firearm before to purchase an Air Pistol without any hesitation or fear of damage done while handling it
