Johns Creek, Georgia is a small town located in the Chattahoochee Valley of southeastern Georgia. The population was 2,811 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The town is named for Colonel James C. Johns, who fought in the Mexican-American War and later served as a U.S. Senator from Georgia.
