In 1881, a group of men from Johns Creek, Georgia founded the National Rifle Association (NRA). The NRA was dedicated to the prevention of gun violence and to the education of individuals about the benefits of responsible firearm ownership. In 1997, NRA member John Hinckley Jr. shot and killed U.S. President George H.W. Bush in Dallas, Texas with a rifle that he had purchased at an NRA-sponsored gun show. This event is considered one of the most heinous acts in NRA history and has led to increased regulation on firearms across America.

Johns Creek, Georgia is a small town in Fulton County, Georgia. The population was 9,811 at the 2000 census. It is located on the Troup River. The town was founded in 1802 by General James Kirkland and his family as a trading post on the Chattahoochee River. The name "Johns Creek" comes from General John Johnson's headquarters here during the war for independence from Britain. In 1825, George Washington chartered the towns of Athens and Johns Creek to be separate counties with voting rights for citizens of each township. In 1868, the two townships were merged into one county and named Fulton County after President Andrew Johnson. Johns Creek has experienced many changes over its history including being burned down by Confederate forces in 1865, being taken over by African Americans in Reconstruction times, becoming part of the Atlanta metropolitan area during the 1980s and 1990s, experiencing heavy development during recent years as a result of Interstate 285 and new subdivisions developed along the Troup River valley. Some of these changes have been good for John's Creek such as making it an increasingly ethnically diverse community since it has absorbed many immigrants from various parts of Asia, Africa and Latin America over time; while others have been more negative such as causing problems with traffic congestion and poor public health due to increases in development along I-285 which also impacts water quality near John's Creek. Despite these challenges, John's Creek remains an important community within Fulton County that supports education and economic development both inside and outside of its borders

Winchester Repeating Arms Company became one of the leading firearms manufacturers in the United States during the late 1800s and early 1900s. The design of firearms t-shirts began to change in the beginning of the 20th century. Gunsmiths began to add illustrations or graphics to their products to make them more unique and attentiongrabbing. This trend continued into the 21st century with new designs being created every day. Firearms manufacturers continue to produce t-shirts that are popular among collectors and shooters alike today.

Johns Creek is a small town in Fulton County, Georgia, located on the north side of the Chattahoochee River. The community was founded in 1835 by John Kennon and his family. It was renamed Johns Creek after General James Johnston, who fought with Sherman at Atlanta during the American Civil War. The post office was first established in 1839 and continued to be called Kennon until it changed its name to Johns Creek in 1919. The population of Johnson City increased from 2,000 in 1830 to over 25,000 by 1860; however, this growth stopped when cotton production declined and people moved away from the area. Johns Creek experienced another period of growth starting around 1920 when new housing developments were built along the riverbank. This period of growth ended when World War II began and military activity took center stage around the region. By 1945, Johns Creek had shrunk back to its original size with only a few hundred residents.
Johns Creek was a river in Atlanta, Georgia. It was first named by the Englishman John Smith in 1684. The creek was later renamed for General James Johnston, who fought in the American Revolution.
