This decision resulted in the establishment of "The Shooter's Magazine" in 1846 which served as the primarygun magazine for both The Rifleman's Magazine and The Shooter's Magazine Group until 1862 when both publications merged into one publication called "The Shooter." After becoming part of "The Shooter," Gun Magazines began serving subscribers from all over Georgia including Jesup itself. Eventually, subscription rates became so high that Gun Magazines decided to move its printing plant from Gwinnett County into Jesup so that it could continue producing high-quality publications at an affordable price point for everyone involved. Additionally, Gun Magazines startedsponsoring competitive shooting events throughout Georgia which helped keep things interesting for readers/subscribers alike!
