In the early 1800s, Jesup was a small community in southeastern Georgia. It was located on the Chattahoochee River, about thirty miles south of Atlanta. At that time, guns were not common in Jesup and there were no gun barrel shops. Gun barrels were made from different materials including wood, metal, and brass. Fixed Targets allow you to set the point of impact exactly where you want it while adjustable Targets allow you to adjust the angle at which they fire so that they hit your target at different distances.

This makes metal Gun Barrels ideal for use in high- powered weapons like handguns and rifles! Plastic Gun Barrels on the other hand have several disadvantages compared to metalGunBarrels! For one thing, Plastic Guns can't be heated up as easily – this means that you'll needto wait until the plastic starts smoking before you can fire your projectile off! Additionally, Plastic Guns can break very easily if mishandled – this means that you'll need someone else there with you during shooting if you want accurate results! Finally, Plastic Guns may not last as long as metalGuides do – this means that if your weapon eventually needs service (like if it starts malfunctioning), you'll likely have trouble finding a replacement parts kit for a Plastic Guide rather than an aluminum one!

The town experienced numerous uprisings during Reconstruction, including the 1879 Atlanta Riot. In 1892, Jesup became an unincorporated community within Clayton County. In 1936, Jesup was renamed for General William Troup after he was killed in battle at Chilton Field near Mobile, Alabama. Today Jesup is a small community with a population of about 150 people who are involved in various aspects of local life. TheJesup Historical Museum is open daily from 9am to 4pm and has displays about local history as well as examples ofJesup-made furniture and household items. The museum also has a permanent exhibit about General Troup's life and battle at Chilton Field
