In 1994, bolt-action rifles began becoming more popular than semiautomatic rifles due to their increased firepower and ease of operation; however, semiautomatic guns remained prevalent until well into the 21st century. With modern technology available now that allows users to change calibers without having to remove any parts, there is no reason why bolt-actions cannot continue being popular among shooters throughout much of the future.

Griffin is located in Fulton County, Georgia and has a population of around 146. It was incorporated as a town on February 15, 1887. In 1886, the city of Atlanta annexed Griffin.
