It was not until 1933 that American Arms Corporation introduced their version called the "Fortress Gun" which featured an adjustable buttstock (later replaced by picatinny rails) and cocking handle on top made possible through an innovative engineering design patents filed by American Arms Corporation's President Harold Crouch Jr.. In 1945 Winchester Model 7 pistols began production using Hotchkiss-type actions featuring interchangeable backstraps which allowed different types/loadings of rounds to be fired simultaneously from these pistols without having to remove each round from its respective magazine! The front sight would automatically adjust while firing making this one of the few handguns ever equipped with both iron sights and night vision equipment! During World War II there was also significant development within the United States arms industry led by General Electric which developed what is now known as The John Browning Automatic Rifle - one of history's most advanced firearms developments! In 1951 Springfield Armory Incorporated introduced their semiautomatic conversion kit allowing users to convert existing single action rifles into automatic weapons capable of firing 20 rounds per minute using just three hand holds – making them some of America's most popular assault rifles!
