By 1886, however, business had begun to grow so rapidly that they decided to move their headquarters from Minneapolis to downtown Duluth where they remained until 1902 when they relocated again (this time to an existing building on Fifth Avenue) because of increased competition from other towns within southern Georgia with similar populations or stockyards capable of housing more than one hundred workers at any given time.
