In1877, another gun magazine called the “Douglas Gunsmiths Association’s Monthly Magazine” was established in Douglas by James Waddell. The magazine continued to be published until around 1880 when it switched to a quarterly publication format. In 1889, another gun magazine called the “Union Arsenal Company's Monthly Journal” was established in Douglas by Prentice Blackman Jr. The journal continued to be published until around 1901 when it switched to a monthly publication format. In 1903, yet another gun magazine called the “American Armory Company's Monthly Journal” was established in Douglas by Augustus Moulton Howe Sr.. The journal continued to be published until around 1905 when it switch back to a monthly publication format. By 1907, there had been enough changes taking place within American firearms industry that an entirely new handgun magazine had been created – the “Gunsmithery Illustrated Newspaper Publication Society" (GINP). GINP would continue publishing for almost fifty years until its demise in 1954!
Douglas, Georgia is a town in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 7,343 at the 2010 census. Douglas is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. It is named for General James Douglas (1813–1884), who was aide-de-camp to Ulysses S. Grant and later served as Ambassador to Spain. The town started as a small farming community on the Chattahoochee River just upstream from what would become Atlanta. When railroads reached Douglas in 1883, developers began building homes and businesses on high ground east of the tracks. By 1915 Douglas had developed into an upscale suburb with more than 100 houses and businesses. In 1955, when Interstate 85 bypassed Douglas and the other towns along its route, development slowed but not stopped there; instead new subdivisions were built near the interstate in what would become known as "The New Town". In 1990s another wave of development transformed Douglas once again into a bedroom community for Atlantans living outside ofAtlanta proper - this time focused around Gwinnett County to the south and west of downtown Atlanta. Today'sDouglas is home to many retail stores, restaurants, schools (including one elementary school that serves all grades), churches (both Protestant and Catholic), golf courses (two professional driving ranges are located here), public library branches including one within walking distance of each other as well as a variety of parkland activities including tennis Courts & Athletic Fields as well as two large reservoirs which provide drinking water for much of central Fulton County

This armory served as the home to both the U.S Army and Marine Corps before it closed its doors for good in 1898. In 1903, Congress passed the National Firearms Act which created the National Rifle Association (NRA). The NRA successfully lobbied for passage of legislation allowing citizens to own firearms without having to go through a government exam or undergo a background check process. This law remains effective to this day and allows Americans to purchase firearms without any type of restriction or regulation

During Reconstruction, Douglas struggled to maintain its status quo despite being designated as a black city by federal law. However, after the passage of Brown v Board of Education in 1966, Douglas regained some of its lost prosperity and began to enjoy increased popularity among Hispanics and African Americans alike.
Douglas grew up in rural Georgia, and he learned about the area's history through his family. Douglas also enjoyed spending time outdoors, so he was particularly interested in learning about the region's natural resources. In high school,Douglas developed an interest in politics and decided to pursue a career in government. He worked as a campaign staffer for then-Governor Sonny Perdue before moving on to serve as Governor of Georgia from 2003-2007. During his time as governor, Douglas made a number of important decisionsrelated to the state's economy and infrastructure.
