Airguns have been used in Decatur, Georgia since the 1880s. In 1884, an American manufacturer of airguns, P.M. Brown and Sons, commenced production of a type of airgun known as the “Browning Buckmark” at their company shop on 15th Street in downtown Decatur. This gun was designed to be operated with a hand-held stock and barrel. The first sales were made to sporting enthusiasts and farmers who used it for target shooting. In 1892, P.M. Brown & Sons produced its own version of the Browning Buckmark called the “Pumpkin Gun” which became very popular among hunters and fishermen because it could be fired without being charged or filled with shot. It is interesting to note that this particular design was not based on any real firearm but rather was created as part of a marketing campaign by P.M. Brown & Sons in order to promote the then new concept of airguns as firearms which could be reloaded multiple times and fired from many different positions including standing up or sitting down! In 1902, Wm Hargrave began producing his own brand of airguns under the name Little Brown Air Guns Ltd., located at 7226 First Avenue inDecatur). Little Brown Air Guns Ltd.'s products were initially aimed at law enforcement officers and other emergency services personnel who needed an effective means of stopping crime or rescuing hostages during high-stress moments such as hostage takings or acts of terrorism. Later on, Little Brown Air Guns Ltd.'s products evolved into what we now know as air rifles which are still widely used today by individuals all over the world for personal protection! One important milestone associated with earlyairguns development occurred in 1903 when George Applegate patented his invention entitled the “Applegate Pistol” which consisted of a revolverscrew action breechblock pistolcased in metal having a rotating firing pin cocked by an operator using one hand while grippingthe frame with another hand! With this patent application filed (and later granted) Applegate demonstrated that he had actually developed a working firearm prototype that could fire projectiles through a small aperture located beneaththe barrel! It should also be noted that Applegate's pistol was designed primarily for military use only and did not see commercialization until after World War I when several improved versions were marketed under various names including Colt pistols (manufactured by Colt Firearms Corporation), Smith & Wesson handguns (manufactured by S&W National Firearms Company), Ruger® rifles ( Manufactured by Ruger Inc.), Remington shotguns ( Manufactured by Remington Arms Company) etc.). Prior to this time there had been no serious attempt made to bring these typesof guns onto the market!!

Decatur is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 21,545 at the 2010 census. It is the second-largest city in Fulton County after Atlanta. Decatur is the county seat of Fulton County. The name "Decatur" is derived from the French word "découverte", meaning "discovered." The first European to visit what is now Decatur was Captain James Cook on his third and final voyage of his circumnavigation of Earth in 1769-1770. He named it Laplandia (the land discovered). In 1811, General Andrew Jackson made his famous speech at Annapolis University4 about creating a national capital for the Union, located near present day downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee-not far from where he had been born and raised. Decatur's citizens responded by voting to add their city to the Union as Athens did hours later on November 3,1861. The vote was close with 813 against 404 for incorporation; however, because Athens already had an established government and economy DECATUR COULD NOT CLAIM THE FEES AND SERVICES FOR A NATIONAL CAPITAL! Some think that this event may have been motivation behind Mayor James Bevill's decision in 1865 to name what would become known as Beville Park after him - one of three parks within downtown Decatur limits which were all dedicated during his mayoralty including Navy Yard Square which remains today home to DECATUR'S ONLY PUBLIC PARKING LOT! northeast corner of 4th Street & Constitution Avenue between Historic Hotel buildings

This weapon was designed to be easy to use and had a high capacity. It could fire eight rounds per minute with a muzzle velocity of 350 feet per second (120 meters per second). This weapon revolutionized airgun use because it allowed people to shoot small game at long distances without having to carry multiple firearms. In 1903, another team within Winchester Arms developed the famous .577 caliber airgun known as the Winchester Model 1886. This gun was able to shoot out up to 290 yards (180 meters) with ease. It also had an accuracy rate above 99% making it one of the most popular airguns in history. The .577 caliber airgun is still considered classic today due its accuracy and firepower

Decatur is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 33,569 at the 2010 census. It is the seat of Fulton County government. The first Europeans to visit what would become Decatur were Spanish explorers in 1540 who named it Santa Elena de la Antiga Spanish Missions after their patron saint Elena of Rome. The town was founded by Captain James Cook on November 5, 1795 as a French trading post on the Savannah River adjacent to present-day Decatur. After American independence from Great Britain was ratified in 1776, General James Wilkinson took command of the British forces occupying Savannah and ordered his troops to burn all vestige of French presence in Georgia. Wilkinson's order led to the establishment of Decatur as an American military base with a garrison of 10 men under Lieutenant Colonel John McLaws and two cannons each at Fort Washington on October 1, 1800. In 1814, during Andrew Jackson's run for president against James K. Polk, Decatur became part of Cherokee Nation following their removal from Georgia to Oklahoma under President Polk's executive order (known as "the Creek Removal"). As Cherokee Nation membership grew moreufficult to maintain due to competing claims by white settlers and Cherokees themselves over land within their borders, efforts began toward creating a new state for them called McIntosh County which would include most if not all of what today is known as Tulsa County including parts now located in Oklahoma City; however this effort failed because no territory west of the Nanticoke River could be acquired without Cherokee consent and violence ensued between whites and Cherokees over control of Indian Territory northward from Arkansas River which lay within McIntosh County boundaries until 1840 when that area was ceded successfully by both parties along with much eastern Arkansas lands back to Indian ownership following Tennessee annexation that year. In 1846 Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest moved his army through northeast Alabama into northeastern Mississippi and encountered Federal forces near Oxford while pursuing General UlyssES S Grant's march across central Missouri into Illinois; Forrest fought Union troops until he retreated east towards Chattanooga where he rejoined Confederate forces before being captured by Union troops at Pea Ridge on April 14th 1865; he subsequently died in prison three months later at Atlanta Ga., never having faced trial for his role in the Civil War.) Fulton County was formed from portions of Muscogee Parish (now Tulsa) county on January 3rd 1855 via Act No., 2nd Session, cosponsored by Senators Staley (Georgia), Toombs (Alabama), Bramlett (southwest Virginia), e Halleck (northwest Ohio) & Rufus King Jr.(New York). The first election held pursuant thereto resulted in John Pritchard victory over Elijah Easley for Boardman District #1 seat vacated by Jno Merrill who had served unexpired term ending December 31st 1854; Pritchard reelected unopposed May 6th 1855 after serving only one day/term due to term limitation set forth therein On February 1st 1861 Decaturians voted overwhelmingly – 801-0 – not only did they authorize $10 gold pieces offered annually or “doubles” yet unpublished previously but also authorized issuance thereof regardless whether or not it reached general treasury coffers thus inaugurating what has come to be known as “Gold Fever” period coinciding with rapid growth & prosperity ensuing herein resulting especially since such tokens continued even upon suspension… [itself] attributable principally thereto doubtless thru increasing demand generated consequent PAGE WAGNER COOPERATIVE Mercantile Agency building erected thenceforward (& still standing) architecturally becoming immediately prominent landmark type local sensation featuring many functions variously attended including Masonic meetings etc…. [but] gradually diminishing influence due largely then too much outside investment culminating June 24th 1897 when Bankruptcy followed effectuating effectsuated sale thereof & erection now occupied adjoining office building owned originally by Capt[ain] Cooks grandson
Decatur was founded on December 1, 1807 by General Oglethorpe. It became an all-white city in 1903 when African Americans were allowed to vote.
