When the Dallas Cowboys moved to Arlington, Texas in 1960, they brought with them a large number of firearms. One of the first things that the team did was to purchase a large quantity of NRA-ILA (National Rifle Association) t-shirts. The team also started selling guns and ammo on their jerseys, which helped to spread the word about Second Amendment rights and gun ownership in Texas. The Cowboy Stadium in Arlington was originally built for the 1913 season and served as home field for both the Dallas Texans (later known as the Cowboys) and then World Champion Houston Oilers. After being renovated in 1961, Cowboy Stadium became home ground for both teams until it was demolished in 1994. The facility is still standing today and has been used as a training ground by various NFL teams over the years.

Dallas, Georgia is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 33,812 at the 2010 census. Dallas was founded on July 6, 1836 by General Jesse James and his brother Andrew Jackson as a small settlement called "The Crossroads of the World." It became a major cotton plantation center during the antebellum period. After Reconstruction began in 1877, Dallas increased its population to over 100,000 through industrialization and white flight. The city experienced a significant growth spurt following its incorporation as a municipality in 1959. In 1990, it lost its status as an incorporated municipality but regained it when Atlanta annexed it into the city limits. Dallas has experienced rapid economic growth since 2000 with an increase in job creation and an influx of immigrants from Latin America and Asia. The downtown area is home to several large office buildings and hotels; this has led to gentrification of Lowertown for wealthier residents while lower-income areas have been left neglected or dilapidated. Dallas is located in north-central Fulton County on I-285 close to Atlanta proper and within easy driving distance of both Chattanooga (to the south) and Savannah (to the east). According to the 2010 U.S. Census estimate,[2] Dallas had a total area of , all of which is land less than two square miles (5 km²). As of ZIP code 77022[3], that amounted to just 2% of all Dallas' total land area[4]. Unlike other southern cities such as Birmingham or Tullahoma where their central business districts are surrounded by neighborhoods that have seen consistent gentrification over time (i.e., old warehouses/factories converted into high-end condos), downtown Dallas remains largely undeveloped despite multiple attempts by developers to bring development there over the past several decades – most notably Mockingbird Lane Partners’ attempt for years to build what would become One Financial Center adjacent to Dealey Plaza Park.[5] This failure resulted in Mockingbird Lane Partners selling their interest in DowntownDallas Properties LLC for $132 million cash plus $59 million worth of deferred payments back to bondholders on December 7th 2017[6],[7]. Despite this setback, plans are ongoing for another mixed use tower complex known as “Downtown Crossing” directly across from AT&T Stadium which will be anchored by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide,[8] one stop away from Union Station allowing access not only to downtown Dallas but also Midtown Atlanta including Buckhead Junction shopping district

Dallas, Georgia was founded on November 17, 1845 by James M. Caldwell and Stephen W. Godwin as the County Seat of Chatham County. The town was named after Dallas, Texas which had been colonized by the Caddo people in 1836. The first white settler in Dallas was John Hance who arrived in 1847. On December 12, 1850, Dallas became a provisional county seat and on January 10, 1851 it became the permanent county seat.
