After the war ended, much of what remained of GM's Atlantic Proving Ground Test Site were dismantled and moved to Luna Park outside Los Angeles for use as parking lots; however, a remnant (the old Administration Building) remain today as part of Heritage Hall at nearby Western Georgia University .
