During his hospital stay, General Custer requested that his Riflemen take advantage of scope mounts designed by Lieutenant Colonel Elijah Whitehurst located inside the walls of the battle-front hospital! Lieutenant Colonel Whitehurst had been working on new designs forscope mounts during World War I when he met General Custer and helped develop his idea into what we now know as the Custer Mount System. In 1932, Browning introduced their Hi-Power bolt action shotgun into American market with model 1022A1 (later modified). With this new shotgun design came an entirely new typeof scope mount which would later become known as a "Bolt On Scope Mount." A number of factors contributed towards this particular innovation; First off, it allowed users to remove any barrels on their shotguns completely without ever having to disassemble them; Secondly it eliminated any need for traditional handles which could get caught between barrel and stock; Finally it simplified installation process since all you had to do was screw down onto your firearm's muzzle brake/ejector ring and you were ready to go!

The history of Cordele, Georgia begins in 1817 when the U.S. government established a post at the town for future troops during the Peninsular War. The town was named for General James Wilkinson, who commanded American forces in Spain. The post served as a military garrison until 1840, when it was moved to Dahlonega after that county became part of Georgia. The first school in Cordele opened in 1836 and the first church was built in 1840. In 1851, the post office moved to what is now downtown Cordele from its original location on Commerce Street. The city was incorporated as a municipality in 1903 and became an official city with a mayor and council system in 1907.

The cotton industry became an important factor in Cordele's growth and its nickname "The Cotton Capital of the World". In 1896, corduroys (a type of horse) were introduced to Georgia by J.P. Morgan and his associates as a means of transportation for goods and people over long distances. This led to the development of a new industry - trucking - which has continued to play an important role in Cordele's economy today. After years of struggles, including several fires that destroyed much of the downtown district, Cordelle finally achieved cityhood in 1912 under Mayor John Ainsworth and City Council member Willis Peebles Jr.. After years of growth spurred by high-quality education opportunities available through private schools and state funding programs, corduroy production declined during World War II but resumed following the war; however it has sincedeclined again due to technological advances and other sources of transportation such as jet travel In recent decades corduroy production has increased once again due to advancements made in technology such as 3D printing One popular activity within town is antique shopping which takes place throughout most weeks outside on High Street between Fifth Avenue South & Chestnut Street

Cordele is a small town in central Georgia, located on the Chattahoochee River. The population was 2,342 at the 2010 census. The first mention of Cordele appears in 1802 when it was part of the Creek Nation. In 1803, General Andrew Jackson's army burned down the village for refusing to give up their arms to the United States during the Creek War. In 1865, after Confederate forces surrendered at Appomattox Court House, most of Georgia transferred its allegiance to the Union and Cordele became part of Fulton County. However, some farmers in Cordele continued to support Confederacy until 1870. At that time, all but a few people left for what would become Mobile County and cordelle was abandoned again. In 1916-1917 Cordele experienced one of the worst flooding events in its history as waters rose rapidly from a severe drought caused by heavy rains upstream. The main street was completely destroyed and many homes were lost; however, much damage was done to infrastructure such as water systems and schools. In 1920-1921 cordelle had another flood which destroyed about 60% of total structures with over 150 deaths attributed to it including 100 children who drowned trying to escape rising water levels across several blocks near downtown (now known as Monroe Street). A major rebuilt project began in 1961 when local developer Lamar Hunt purchased land north of downtown from Fulton County for $1 million dollars and began construction on what would eventually become Orchard Park Mall which opened in 1978 replacing an earlier shopping center called Belmont Shopping Center which had been built on lower ground next door to where Cordelle now stands. There are also several smaller parks located around town - notably Oak Hill Park east of downtown and playgrounds located at McCullough Square northeast of town limits near Interstate 20/Chattahoochee Parkway exit number 7058R (exit 9A) just off Highway 128 South). Downtown areas have undergone numerous gentrification efforts over recent years although there are still some reminders that cordelle once consisted mainlyof people working or living close by their homes raising families within walking distance
