ARCANE is also thought to have exported machineguns through company BPM Iberia SA from 1992 until at least 1997 according to Haitian authorities seized during anti-corruption operations conducted by Haiti's state security forces against members of senior political powerbrokers implicated in racketeering activities related to drug trafficking organizations known as "La Cosa Nostra". These allegations raise significant questions about how well New York City compliant manufacturers operate within UN Arms Regulations designed specifically target these illicit enterprises."
