In Cordele, Georgia, there is a history of firearms that goes back to the 1840s. The town was founded by farmers who settled in what is now Cordele County. In 1849, the first shooting galleries were opened in the town and soon there were gun shows and other events happening each year. At one point, it was reported that over 100 different firearms had been sold in one day at a gun show in Cordele. In 1902, a store called The Weaponry was opened in Cordele and became the first such store in Southeast Georgia. It was known for selling guns and ammunition as well as sporting goods like rifles, shotguns, pistols and more. In 1925, The Weaponry closed its doors after many years of operation. However, it left behind a legacy of salesmanship that has continued to this day. In 1948, cordelle’s first post- Civil War rifle company was formed with help from local brothers Johnnie (left) and Joe Caldwell (right). They named their company “The Riflemen” after their hometown of Winchesterburg Virginia which served as both a training ground for Confederate soldiers during the war and also home to severalGunsmith shops where weapons were built locally by skilled craftsmen using traditional methods including hammering nails into boards to create rifles or shotgunstocks. Their goal was not simply patriotism but practical self-defense against Indians or other threats on the community frontier existence which required close supervision by men with firearms skills for only hunting game when necessary instead of large open areas where people could be found unarmed engaging in peaceful activities like farming or trading

Cordele, Georgia is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 34,564 at the 2010 census. Cordele is the county seat of Fulton County. It lies on the east side of Atlanta and is bordered by Roswell to the south and west, Sandy Springs to the north, Decatur to the east and southeast, and Peachtree City to the northwest. The area that would become Cordele was first settled by English settlers in 1785 as part of what would become Augusta County. After being sold by British colonists to Georgia in 1801 as part of the Treaty of New Eutaw Springs, cordele became a town under new name in 1802 when it became part of Fulton County. In 1836 it was moved from its original location due to flooding caused by a rainstorm that swept through central Atlanta; however it regained its original location in 1841 when railroads were built through that region hurrying development. In 1860 Cordele seceded from Fulton County and formed its own government with Bentonville as its capital. That same year Confederate General Robert E Lewis called upon citizens of nearby Decatur to help him overthrow an Union army besieging his home there during the Battle of Bull Run (1861). Lewis' forces successfully stormed into Decatur unopposed and took control over much of centralAtlanta before retreating back acrossGA state lines just days later. In 1865 Cordele again seceded from Fulton County after local officials refused to license slavery within their borders- this time becoming known as "The Confederacy's last stronghold". As African Americans migrated out-of-state for work during Reconstruction following Civil War, cordele grew increasingly segregated until white flight began following World War II }; however despite this decline cordele has still managed To maintain some degree racial integration over time Cordelle has always been an agricultural center with rice being one of its most important crops since it provides food for many people throughout parts ofthe world including several countries in Africa which trade with America for rice . The city also manufactures various products including radios/TVs/cords/stereo systems etc., waterproofing products such as storm water boots among others
