This rapid growth continued through WWII when more than 20%of citize workforce came thru Airforce Stations stationed throughout GA& Alabama making it difficult for locals to find jobs however grades were still high & standards high leading many young men (& women) into fields they never thought possible such as Engineering & Construction! After Cincy lost their WWII armistice linesopened up again housing prices decreased making it harder for newcomers yet again!? But even during these tough times some did manage To get past all odds join forces with friends/family members from other places & formed what would become Known As The “Gwinnett Veterans Association”(GVA) helping build homes & provide support systems throughout Peach State!!! Todaymore than 50 years later GVA continues TO help provide resources fro individuals interested in purchasing or renting property located inside Or outside city Limits!!!
