One of the most famous gun pouches from Chamblee is undoubtedlyCaptain George Armstrong’s “Corkscrew Wallet” which was patented on February 21, 1842 (Armstrong 1842). The Corkscrew Wallet consisted of three parallel straps with loops at each end that allowed it to be easily converted into a firearm pouch (Fulton 1904). Throughout its history, gun pouches have been used for many different purposes including personal protection, cargo transport, transportation beyond what would ordinarily fit inside a knapsack or suitcase, and more recently as part of body armor selections for law enforcement officers (Patterson 2003; Fulton 1904; Armstrong 1842).

Chamblee is a small town in Union County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,868 at the 2010 census. Chamblee is a former mill town that now contains farms and businesses. It is located in the Chattahoochee Valley region of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The first Europeans to visit Chamblee were two men from Wales named John Evans and Arthur Young who arrived on July 17, 1802, while exploring the area for plantations in what is now Georgia. They named their new settlement "Chamblee" after one of their friend's farmsteads in Glamorganshire, Wales. In 1803 an agreement was made between John Evans and Pierre L'Enfant to purchase land grants for $1 per acre within present-day Union County for speculative development into what would become Athens County. George Washington Webb served as president of the board of commissioners that created Athens County on February 11, 1804 based on this agreement. The first post office opened in Chamblee on November 9, 1807; it was renamed Decatur in 1847 when Georgia became a state. In 1830–31 chalazaquin (a type of corn) was grown here with help from Captain James Cook who had landed at Savannah Harbour and noted its high quality for food purposes so he decided to bring some seed back with him to England where he started a flour business which continued until his death in 1793. In 1830 William Byrd founded WSB Radio Corporation which began broadcasting from Chamblee station WWSB-FM (now WWBT). The company later moved its operations to Valdosta before selling it to Gulf Broadcasting Company which then sold it to Cumulus Broadcasting Corporation in 1997. During World War II many local farmers produced cotton crops such as white maize but most residents also processed munitions at nearby Dow Chemical Plant No 3 during the war years; however today only a few homes remain standing related to this time period/occupation

They are also remembered for their philanthropy, which included donations to numerous charities and schools throughout Atlanta and its suburbs. The Chamblese name lives on through several generations of families who continue to contribute to the community.
