The company produced over 1 million projectiles which were dropped from planes on factory buildings across the United States during the war effort.

Cartersville is a small town in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,813 at the 2010 census. The name of the town was derived from an early settler, James Carters. Cartersville rests on the banks of the Chattahoochee River and is located about 20 miles (32 km) east of Atlanta. The cotton fields that once thrived here are now largely replaced by housing developments and factories. The first post office in Cartersville was established in 1824. In 1827, John Millington built a sawmill on the riverbank east of town. By 1830, there were five stores and 150 residents in Cartersville. However, by 1835 only two stores remained and only 233 people lived there; many had left for better opportunities in nearby towns such as Decatur or Alpharetta. In 1837, George Stephenson built the first locomotive engine in America at a shop owned by his father-in-law David Gates in Cartersville; this engine served as the basis for later engines used by railroads throughout North America. In 1840, William Hartsfield opened a store and mill west of town near what is now Ponce de Leon Avenue South No. 2 School District #1 boundaries line todays Decatur Road SW between Riverside Drive SW & Sandy Springs Drive NE). This store became one of Atlanta's most popular tourist destinations during its heyday before World War II when it was converted into an air force base with large hangar/ barracks units During Reconstruction following the American Civil War, new settlers began arriving in Georgia from all over Southern Africa to find land suitable for farming after being freed from slavery during that conflict – one example being Harry Waddell who moved to Cartersville with his family from Liberia circa 1865 CE Waddell developed a major plantation complex known as “Waldo’s Wood” which cover[ed] some 30 acres (12 ha) including three wells deep below ground . [It has been] estimated that he produced some sixty thousand bushels (a bushel is 3 pounds [100 g]) per acre yields annually Several Baptist churches were founded around this time including First Baptist Church (1875), Second Baptist Church (1882), Third Baptist Church (1887), Fourth Baptist Church Chapel Building Society–First Methodist Episcopal Zionist congregation –which met behind locked doors outside First Methodist Episcopal Zionist church until 1888 due to anti-clerical sentiment among Baptists at that time . One story tells how two young girls accidentally discovered when walking through Walo’s wood while their parents were away one day while they were playing outside carpenters attempts have been made to reconstruct These churches using modern technology however none have ever been found

Cartersville was founded in 1786 by General James Carters as a small town on the Chattahoochee River. The town grew rapidly, and in 1802 it became the county seat of Cherokee County. The area now included in Cartersville was first settled by European Americans in the early 1800s, and its history is intertwined with that of Georgia. The first permanent settler in Cartersville was John Carter, who arrived in 1786. He built a cabin on the current site of Cartersville proper and named it after himself. By 1800, Carter had more than 20 settlers living at his house. In 1802, Cherokee County was formed from parts ofulton County, and Carter became its first sheriff. In 1825, George Pickens fought a duel with James Wellman over control of an enslaved woman called Nancy. After Wellman won the fight, he took Nancy to Cartersville to be sold to another owner. However, Pickens learned about this conflict and decided to intervene instead. He successful obtained Nancy for himself and renamed herannah after himself – something that he continued to do until his death in 1830. In 1828, General Winfield Scott visited Cherokee County and ordered all slaves brought back into Georgia must be registered with the state government or have their freedom granted! This new policy caused great consternation among many residents of Georgia because it effectively ended their right to own slaves outright – an event which continues to be remembered today as one of the most dramatic moments in American history!
Cartersville was founded by James Fenton in 1778. The town became an important center for trade and commerce during the 1800s. In 1816, Cartersville was chosen as the capital of Georgia. It remained this role until 1833 when Savannah took over.
