By 1907 Buford had 30 stores and 350 residents; it was still unequal however because most of the business were small family operations with few employees outside of the family itself In 1930 Rube Goldberg designed one of America's first automated machines called an Automatic vending machine (AVM), which became popular among convenience store owners throughout America during that decade Buford has seen some growth since then including annexation by Gwinnett County in 2000 and its current population of 15,362 according to the 2010 census . However, much like other US Cities on average experience smaller percentage increases or decreases over time due to variations within local economies . Despite this stagnation overall crime rates have generally remained stable or decreased slightly over time although occasional outbreaks are not unheard of

Buford is a city in northeast Georgia, United States. The population was 21,701 at the 2010 census. Buford is the county seat of Muscogee County. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area and was one of the fastest-growing cities in America from 2000 to 2010. In 1851, General John A. Bufton founded a small settlement on what is now downtown Buford after surveyors found land for sale in that location. The town's name came from Bufton's discovery of a fabled "bad place" called Bungalow Fields near present day Cumming University Boulevard and Patton Avenue. In 1885, when Bibb County was created, Buford became part of it and its first mayor was William Laddington Smithson. During World War II, Buford served as the home base for USAAF strategic bomber units stationed in nearby Macon and Athens counties during the war effort. After the war ended, many jobs were lost due to new competition from elsewhere in Georgia within the aerospace industry; however, over time some businesses have reopened such as Albin (a retailer specializing in African American-owned clothing) which opened in 2001 and has been an anchor tenant since then; Gulfstream Helicopters (now GHS Helicopters), which opened its headquarters and corporate hangar there in 2006; Hanes Corporation (now Hanes Brands) consolidated their operations into two locations – one on Indian Creek Parkway east of downtown Buford proper and another off Catoosa Highway – before moving all their products out of state altogether into Gwinnett County by 2018[1]. However several thousand jobs are still generated annually at both GHS Helicopters' headquarters complex on Indian Creek Parkway east of downtown Buford proper and Hanes Corporation'sガストロヘッドライナーズビジネスセンター アメリカワークショップ（Hanes USA Center）(formerly known as Hanes Corp.] located off Catoosa Highway just south of I-75 exit 117).
